2-26 - Comstock 31 - Delton-Kellogg 15

The JV Girls Basketball Team won their 3rd game in a row on Wednesday night and finished the season with an 11-8 record for the season!  Great defense by the whole team held Delton to only 15 points for the game.  High scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 16 points, Kaylee Gilley with 9 points, Kelsee Wingler and Selena Alvarado had 2 points each, and Tori McNett and Miranda Cannon each added 1 point.

2-24 - Comstock 43 - Constantine 34

The JV girls basketball team won their 10th game of the season on Tuesday night by beating Constantine at home. The Colts took the lead in the first quarter and never gave it up the rest of the game.  Top scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 18 points, Miranda Cannon with 7 points, Kaylee Gilley with 7 points, Selena Alvarado with 5 points, Tori McNett with 4 points, and Morgan Watson with 2 points

2-18 - Comstock 32 - Harper Creek 19

The JV Girls Basketball team won their 9th game of the season on Wednesday night at Harper Creek.  Comstock took the early lead and played excellent defense in the 2nd half to extend the lead.  High scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 15 points, Miranda Cannon with 11 points, Morgan Watson with 3 points, and Selena Alvarado with 3 points.  Alexis Black, Kelsee Wingler and Makayla Troupe really contributed on the defensive end by holding Harper Creek to only 19 points in the game.

2-16 - Comstock 35 - Sturgis 27

The JV Girls Basketball team secured their 8th win of the season on Monday night at Sturgis. Marissa Vandyk started the game off quickly with a 7 point spurt and put the Colts ahead early. A tough full-court press in the 2nd half helped Comstock come from behind and win by 8 points.  Marissa Vandyk finished the game as the high scorer with 18 points, Miranda Cannon finished with 10 points, Kaylee Gilley finished with 5 points, and Selena Alvarado finished with 2 points.  Tori McNett’s rebounding and post defense were big contributors to holding Sturgis to just 27 points.

2-12 - Comstock 39 - Schoolcraft 41

The JV Girls Basketball team lost a very close game to Schoolcraft in the last 10 seconds of the game.  Comstock played a great game against a Schoolcraft team that had easily beat them in their first meeting this season.  Top scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 16 points, Kaylee Gilley and Miranda Cannon both with 8 points each, Selena Alvarado with 3 points, and Kelsee Wingler and Tori McNett scored 2 points each.

2-10 - Comstock 35 - Allegan 28

The JV Girls Basketball Team played Allegan at home on Tuesday night and won by seven points. Comstock took the lead early in the game and kept the lead the whole game. High scorers in the game were Selena Alvarado with 9 points, Miranda Cannon with 9 points, Kaylee Gilley with 9 points, and Marissa Vandyk with 8 points. Good defensive effort by the whole team to keep Allegan from coming back in the 4th quarter.

2-5 - Comstock 36 - Galesburg-Augusta 42

The JV Girls Basketball team lost a closely contested game to Galesburg on Thursday night.  The Colts overcame a first-half, 9 point deficit to take the lead during the second half.  Missed free-throw's in the final quarter prevented Comstock from getting the win.  High scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 17 points, Miranda Cannon with 6 points, Selena Alvarado with 5 points, and Morgan Watson and Kaylee Gilley with 4 points each.

2-3 - Comstock 36 - Hackett 44

The JV Girls Basketball team played Hackett on Tuesday night and had a chance to win all the way to the end.  The Colts came from behind and took a 4 point lead at the end of the 3rd Quarter.  In the 4th quarter, the shots wouldn’t drop at the end as Hackett played a tight zone defense.  High scorers in the game were Miranda Cannon with 16 points, Kaylee Gilley with 14 points, and Selena Alvarado with 6 points.  Good defensive effort by Tori McNett and Alexis Black.

1-27 - Comstock 37 - Kalamazoo Christian 35

The JV Girls Basketball team won their 6th game of the season by beating the Comets at home on Tuesday night.  Comstock took the early lead, but the Comets took the lead and held it all the way into the 4th quarter.   In the final quarter, Comstock made some critical shots and held K Christian to only 7 points.  High Scorers in the game were Marissa VanDyk with 17 points, Kaylee Gilley with 12 points, Miranda Cannon with 4 points, and Kelsee Wingler and Tori McNett adding 2 points each.

1-22 - Comstock 15 - Delton-Kellogg 20

Comstock’s JV Girls team lost a very low scoring game at Delton on Thursday evening in an Away game.  The Colts struggled all night long to get the ball in the basket against a very tall and physical Delton team.  The Colts were only able to score 15 points, but held Delton to only 20 points in a great defensive effort.  Kaylee Gilley scored 5 points, Marissa VanDyk scored 4, and 2 points were added by Miranda Cannon, Tori McNett and Morgan Watson.

1-20 - Comstock 36 - Constantine 34

The JV Girls Basketball team won their 5th game of the season in a very close game against Constantine.  The game was neck and neck all the way to the end.  Tough defense was required by the whole team with a shout out to Alexis Black and Callie James for an extra tough defensive effort at the guard position.  High scorers in the game were Miranda Cannon with 13 points, Kaylee Gilley with 8 points, Kelsee Wingler with 7 points, Marissa VanDyk with 7 points and Alexis Black with 1 point.

1-15 - Comstock 24 - Schoolcraft 37

The JV girls lost to a hard fought game to Schoolcraft in an Away game on Thursday night.  Schoolcraft took the early lead and never gave it up.  The Colts struggled to score early in the game and played catch-up the rest of the way.  High scorers in the game were Miranda Cannon with 8 points, Kaylee Gilley and Tori McNett with 5 points each, Selena Alvarado with 4 points, and Alexis Black with 2 points.

1-13 - Comstock 33 - Coloma 16

The Comstock JV Girls Basketball team won their 4th game of the season on Tuesday night against Coloma.  Comstock took the lead early in the game and never gave it up.  The defense was exceptional with Comstock holding their opponents to only 3 points in the first half and 16 points overall.  High scorers in the game were Miranda Cannon with 13 points, Kaylee Gilley with 12 points, Selena Alvarado with 5 points and Alexis Black with 3 points.

12-19 - Comstock vs Galesburg - Draw

Comstock's game with Galesburg ended in a draw due to a serious injury on the court on Thursday night.  After an extended delay in the game, coaches from both teams agreed to cancel the rest of the game in the best interest of the individual players and teams.  Comstock played a tough 3 quarters and led by 5 points with just 5 minutes left in the final quarter.  Both teams are looking forward to a rematch later this season.

12-16 - Comstock 31 - Hackett 50

The JV Girls Basketball Team lost their 2nd game of the season against Hackett on Tuesday night.  Hackett took the lead early in the game and the Colts could never close the gap.  The Colts were playing shorthanded for the 2nd game in a row due to sickness on the team.  The rest of the team played hard and gave their best effort but ran out of gas with only 2 subs on the bench.  High scorers with Marissa VanDyk with 20 points, Miranda Cannon with 4 points, Kelsee Wingler with 3 points, and Morgan Watson and Tori McNett with 2 points each.

12-11 - Comstock 43 - Parchment 46

The JV Girls Basketball team lost their 1st game of the season against Parchment on Thursday night.  The score was close the whole game and Parchment won the game with free throws in the final quarter.  Top scorers in the game were Marissa VanDyk with 22 points, Selena Alvarado with 8, Kelsee Wingler with 6 and Abby Schreiner with 4 points.

12-9 - Comstock 40 - South Haven 19

The JV Girls Basketball team won their 3rd game in a row Tuesday night against South Haven.  Comstock kept the lead the whole game and extended their lead each quarter.  Lead scorers in the game were Marissa VanDyk with 20 points, Miranda Cannon with 14 points, Alexis Black with 3 points, and Makayla Troupe with 2 points.  

12-4 - Comstock 33 - Kalamazoo Christian 28

In the 2nd Game of the season, the JV Girls team pulled off another win in an Away game at Kalamazoo Christian.  Comstock kept the lead the whole game and withstood a few runs by Kalamazoo Christian running a tough full-court press.  Great defensive game by the whole team to keep Kalamazoo Christian under 30 points.  Top scorers in the game were Miranda Cannon with 11 points, Marissa VanDyk with 10 points, and Selena Alvarado with 6 points.  Morgan Watson, Taylor Wells and Kelsee Wingler all got on the board with 2 points each.

12-2 - Comstock 41 - Pennfield 39

The JV Girls team won their first game of the year playing an Away game at Pennfield.  The Lady Colts trailed Pennfield during the 1st three quarters of the game but kept it close with good rebounding and defense.  In the 4th quarter Comstock made some big free throws under pressure, and a final shot by Taylor Wells with 7 seconds won the game by just 2 points.  High scorers in the game were Marissa VanDyk with 18 points, Selena Alvarado with 9 points, Miranda Cannon with 6 points, Taylor Wells with 6 points, and Morgan Watson with 2 points.
