The Colts jumped out to a 4 run lead in the first but had to come back in the 7th to score 2 runs to win. Austin Lanksy singled, stole second and third and came in on a Dylan Wright ground ball. Ryan Wright singled and scored on a Nick Keene RBI ground ball. Ryan Wright, who came on in relief of Dylan Wright, got out of a seventh inning bases loaded jam by inducing a ground ball double play. EJ Finch had three hits, including a double and two RBI for Plainwell.

Nick Keene held the Trojans to 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 5 in an 8 - 1 win in the nightcap. Keene also had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs, while Dylan Wright drove in 2 with a double and Austin Lansky drove in 1 on a double.

The Colts were down 11-1 at the end of the first inning but made it a game, scoring 7 in the second and 1 a piece in the third, fifth and seventh but still came up a run short dropping the non-conference single game 11-12. Austin Lansky and Nick Keene both hit triples as AT drove in four runs and Nick drove in two. Jordan Leslie had two hits and three put-outs and Riley Tucker pitched four strong innings for the 10 - 7 Colts.

Coloma had played three double headers in four days coming into a double header with Comstock Tuesday night but it was Comstock who came out flat, giving up 11 runs on 9 hits and four errors before finding their rhythm and getting on the board.  The Colts scored in each of the last four frames to come from behind and win on  a Ryan Wright basehit in the bottom of the 7th.  Brandon Haller pitched the last three innings, holding Coloma at bay and picking up the win.  Dylan Wright had four  hits and Riley Tucker, Kyle Watson and Mason Groll had two RBI’s a piece.  The Colts continued hitting the ball in the night cap as Dylan Wright had two more hits and drove in 4 runs.  Austin Lansky’s second hit of the game drove in the final run while Dylan Wright held Coloma to 3 hits to pick up the win.

Comstock and Otsego spilt a Conference Divisional game Monday night.  In the first game, with Otsego leading 6 - 3, Kyle Watson singled to lead off the bottom of the 7th, Devin Johnson singled him home, Brandon Haller walked and then AT Lansky hit a shot to left center for a three run walk off homer and a 7-6 win.  Ryan Wright struck out 7 and Kyle Watson pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win In the second game, Otsego put up four runs in the second on singles by Eric DeJong, a double from Jaeden Thompson, a single by Clark McBain and a two run homer from Brady Syrek Comstock loaded the bases in the third and picked up two runs on a Dylan Wright single but then ran out of hits and time as the game was shortened due to darkness.  Ryan Lovett struck out four and held the Colts to two hits to get the win for Otsego.

Comstock and Three Rivers split 5 - 4 and 4 - 5 Tuesday night.  In the first game Comstock scored twice in the bottom of the 7th to come from behind and win the first game.  Austin Lanksy led off with a double, Dylan Wright moved him to third and after an IBB to Ryan Wright, Nick Keene squeezed in the tying run and Riley Tucker singled in the winning run.  In the second game, Comstock again mounted a late game rally scoring twice in the 6th on consecutive singles by Riley Tucker, Kyle Watson and Jordan Leslie and twice in the 7th but left the tying run on base.  Comstock is now 6 - 2.

In the first game Nick Keene struck out 8 and walked 1 in a 4 inning no-hitter.  Nick also had a single and a double and drove in 4 runs.  Austin Lansky had 2 doubles and 2 RBI and Dylan Wright had 2 hits and 2 doubles.  Jeramie Herwick had an RBI double in the first inning as the Colts went on to a 15 – 0 win.  In the night cap Dylan Wright and Brandon Haller combined to limit the Panthers to 3 hits and had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s apiece to led the Colts to an 11 – 1 victory.  Jordan Leslie and Brad Mayne had key hits as the Colts moved to 5 – 1.  Comstock travels to Vicksburg, Friday, to open up Conference play.

22 walks and 17 hit bats men later, the Colts swept Benton Harbor 13 - 3 and 7 - 6 on Friday.  Dylan Wright continued having a hot bat and Ryan joined in with three hits in the first game and one in the second.  Dylan also struck out six in three innings and Bryan Moore and Mason Groll combined their pitching talents to lead the Colts to a win in the second.  Nick Keene had two hits and two RBI's and Brandon Haller had 4 stolen bases, including a steal of home as the Colts got off to their best start in five years.  Delton is here Tuesday at 4 and the Colts travel to Vicksburg on Friday. Thank you to all of you who came out to support us over Spring Break.  It was much appreciated.

The Colts opened the season with a split against Parchment Thursday.  After getting off to a great start in the first game the wheels fell off and Parchment racked up 13 runs to beat Comstock 13 – 5.  AT Lansky had a double and Riley Tucker, Brad Mayne and Devin Johnson all got hits.  In the second game, Nick Keene held the Panthers to 3 hits while striking out 5 and Dylan Wright had a great day coming up with two doubles, a triple and eight RBI’s!  Brandon Haller and Kyle Watson had good offensive performances and Jordan Leslie had 2 hits, scored twice, had an RBI and a stolen base
as the Colts came back to win the second game, 15 - 0.
