Last night the Comstock softball team won 2 exciting games in Three Rivers.  The girls took game 1 after they went up in the top of the 7th inning 5-1 but let Three Rivers fight back to 5-4 with the bases loaded with no outs.  Pitcher Bailey Clements had out 1 with a strike out and then Comstock defense turned their first double play of the year home to first to end the game.  Abby Schriener had a big double with 2 RBI's, other hits in game 1 were Munson, Tiller, Clements with 2 and an RBI, Mollohan with a single and a double.  Game 2 Comstock went up 3-0 but Three Rivers came back to tie the game 3-3 in the 6th inning.  The Colts defense held Three Rivers in the top of the 7th and in the bottom Kaylee Tiller and Bailey Clements both had singles.  Sophia Thome pinch ran for Kaylee scoring the winning run off of a walk off single by Sara Preston after an intentional walk to Abby Schriener.  Both were true team efforts with everyone contributing to open conference play.  Comstock plays Vicksburg this Friday at home.
