2-21 - MHSAA Individual Regionals

The boys came up short today but gave it all they have. Tanner Phares and John Ferraro lost a couple of decisions to get knocked out of the tournament. Zach Richards was one win away from advancing to the palace but lost 1-0 and then 11-7. Colton Connor won his first match and was wrestling the #1 ranked wrestler in the state before colliding head to head and not being able to continue. Congratulations to these young men on their achievements.

2-18 - MHSAA Team Regional

The wrestling team gave it all they had but it wasn't quite enough to overcome South Haven last night. With injuries to some key wrestlers in the lineup the Colts lost 75-3. The wrestling team finishes with a dual record of 15-14, placing 4th in the conference and wining a district title. Colton Connor, Zach Richards, John Ferraro and Tanner Phares. If you see one of these men please wish them good luck!

2-14 - MHSAA Individual District

Congratulations to Tanner Phares, John Ferraro, Zach Richards and Colton Connor on placing at Individual Districts. These four gentleman will compete this Saturday at Michigan Center to compete for a spot at the State Tournament.

2-11 - MHSAA Team Districts Champions

The Colts have claimed back to back District Titles for the first time in school history! The Colts were no match for Paw Paw defeating them 48-12. Key matches were at 130 where Tanner Phares avenged an earlier loss on the year to Kyle Loehrs and Zach Richards defeating Anthony Reo 11-7. The Colts werent finished yet as they squared off with conference rival Parchment Panthers. Comstock defeated Parchment 54-21 in dominating fashion! Picking up wins and securing the district title for the Colts were Cora Chandler, Connor Kent, Tanner Phares, John Ferraro, Mubark Hasan, Jacob Dewolfe, Jacob Vreeman, Zach Richards, Mike Derhammer and Colton Connor.

2-7 KVA Conference Meet

The Colts entered the tournament in 4th place and walked away from the KVA Conference Meet in 4th place. Earning All-Conference for the Colts were Tanner Phares, Mubark Hasan, Zach Richards and Colton Connor.

Comstock 36 - Olivet 30

The team had a split decision losing to Bronson 59-24 and beating Olivet 36-30. Winning matches for the Colts were Tanner Phares, John Ferraro, Mubark Hasan, and Jacob Dewolfe.

1-30 - Comstock Individual Invitational

1-28 - Comstock 12 - Delton-Kellogg 67

Battling some sickness the Colts weren't able to pull this one out. The team lost to Delton 67-12. Winning matches for the Colts were Casey Nolan and Zach Richards.

The wrestling team went 3-2 on the day at its home team tournament. The Colts started off strong defeating Reading 41-36 and Cassopolis 60-9. The team then suffered a pair of loses to Bloomingdale 33-39 and State Ranked Sturgis 58-8. The team came back strong to get another win agaisnt Marshall 44-30.

Comstock 54 - Parchment 27

The wrestling team earned two wins last night beating Galesburg 56-6 and parchment 54-27. Earning two wins for the colts were tanner Phares, Jacob Vreeman, mike Derhammer, Zach Richards, Sam perry, Norman Coonfer and Colton Connor. Earning their first varsity wins were Connor Nolan and Noah Wall.

1-17 - Quincy Results Individual Tournament

The Colts traveled to Quincy for the 21st Annual Shawn Cockrell Memorial Tournament with a field of 19 teams. The Colts took 9 wrestlers to the tournament but only came away with 4 placers. Placing for the Colts were Zach Richards 3rd, Mike Derhammer 3rd, Colton Conor 4th and Norman Coonfer 4th

Wrestling team lost a pair of matches last night. Winning matches for the colts were John Ferraro, Zach Richards, Mike Derhammer and Norman Coonfer. 

12-27 - Comstock Individual Invitational

The Colts hosted their annual Horseshoe Classic Holiday Invitational. This tournament featured 19 teams from around the area. Placing for the Colts were Casey Nolan 5th, John Ferraro 7th, Jacob Dewolfe 8th, Zach Richards 6th, Mike Derhammer 4th, Norman Coonfer 5th, and Colton Connor 5th.

Comstock 48 - Paw Paw 24
Comstock 37 - Dowagiac 36 OT

The team traveled to Gull Lake for a Super Dual Tournament and came home with a 4-1 record and 5th place. The Colts started off the tournament defeating a Rainbow team 54-12. They then suffered their only loss on the day to eventual champion Monroe Jefferson 51-6. The team then rallied to defeat St. Joe 43-36, Paw Paw 48-24 and Dowgiac 36-36 winning by overtime criteria.

Comstock 33 - Schoolcraft 42

The conference scheduled kicked off today with the Colts losing to Constantine 51-27 and losing to Schoolcraft 42-33. Winning two matches for the Colts were Casey Nolan, Mike Derhammer and Colton Connor.

12-13 - Napoleon Invitational

The Varsity wrestling team traveled to Napoleon this weekend and took home a 4th place finish out of 11 teams. Going undefeated in the tournament and leading the way for the Colts were Tanner Phares, Zach Richards and Mike Derhammer. Placing for the Colts were Casey Nolan, Mackenzie Derhammer, John Ferraro, Jacob Dewolfe, Mubark Hasan and Norman Coonfer.

12-10 - Comstock 36 - Hartford 39

The comstock wrestling team went 1-1 on the night, losing to Hartford 36-39 and beating Bloomingdale 42-24. Leading the way with two wins  - Casey Nolan, Tanner Phares, Zach Richards, Mike Derhammer, Norman Coonfer, Tyler Bowling.  Earning their first varsity career wins were Victor Plascencia, Tyler Bowling and Sam Perry.
