5-11 - Wolverine Conference Tournament

Comstock Women's Tennis finished 2 days of delays, rain, cold, and wind with a 9th place finish in the Wolverine Conference Tournaments. Despite finishing last in our half of the conference, we beat 3 teams at the conference tourney. Congratulations to Kelsie Carver for finishing 5th place at 4 Singles! This was her first time of the year playing singles and she did an amazing job!

Lady Colts Tennis played tough regional foe last night, but lost the overall match 5-3. Winning for our Colts were: Monica Gordon, doubles Gabby Clopton and Kelsie Carver, and doubles Caylea Jackson and Grace Miles. We played well at all flights and are ready for the Wolverine Conference Championship this Friday and Saturday.

Women's Tennis went to South Haven last night for our Wolverine Cross-over match. Only 10 Lady Colts were able to go, but ALL 10 won their matches!! 5-4 - Otsego Invitational

Our Lady Colt Tennis Team went to the Otsego Tennis Invitational on Saturday. Many of our Colts played their best tennis to date! Highlight of the day was Gabby Clopton and Kelsie Carver winning 2nd place medals at 1 doubles, barely missing a 1st place finish.  The team seems to be peaking at the right time as we have less than 2 weeks left in our season!

5-1 - Comstock 0 - Otsego 8

Women's Tennis lost to a veteran Otsego tennis team last night. Highlight of the night was underclassmen Ashley Cabello and Tori McNett's doubles match. They played great doubles tennis against two senior Otsego players, but came up short 4-6, 4-6. 

4-29 - Comstock 0 - Plainwell 8

Women's Tennis played some great tennis last night, but came up short against a veteran Plainwell team. Highlight of the night was freshman Caylea Jackson and Grace Miles playing excellent team tennis, forcing their senior opponents into a tie-breaker as both teams watched.

4-22 - Comstock 2 - Paw Paw 6

Women's Tennis enjoyed the beautiful weather and playing a conference match at home last night, but came up short against a veteran Paw Paw team (2-6). Winning for our Colts were Monica Gordon and Macy Fahl.

4-20 - GK Tournament

Congratulations to Macy Fahl, Gabby Clopton, and Kelsie Carver! Macy placed 2nd out of 10 teams in the Greater Kalamazoo Tennis Tournament on Saturday. Gabby and Kelsie made it to the Consolation round to be played Monday. The entire team battled cold, strong winds, and snow but played with a lot of heart and tenacity. Four area teams elected to not play due to the tough conditions.

4-13 - Brandywine Invitational

The Women's Tennis Team battled cold and wind on Saturday at the Brandywine Bobcat Tennis Tournament. Earning 2nd Place medals include Monica Gordon, Emilee Hunt, and Macy Fahl.
