2-22 - Comstock 59 - Mendon 18

Comstock JV finished with a big win against Mendon, 59-18. Davon Gordon led the Colts with 23pts, followed by Dominic Narwick with 9!

2-16 - Comstock 72 - Bangor 26

Comstock Varsity boys basketball defeated Bangor 72-26 last night. The Colts controlled the game from the beginning and dominated throughout. Everyone on the team got in on the scoring last night and had five players in double figures with DJ Howard leading the team with 15 points and Israel Patterson adding 14 points. Davon Gordon had 11 points, Masson Mollohan and Josh Allan each scored 10 points.

2-8 - Comstock 68 - Hartford 45

Comstock Varsity boys basketball team defeated Hartford on the road last night 68-45. The Colts had a balance offensive attack and were great on defense creating turnovers for easy buckets. Josh Allan led the team in scoring with 15 points, Israel Patterson and Masson Mollohan had 14 points each, and JR Kellum added 10 points. The boys improved to 9-3 on the season and take on Decatur at home Friday night. 

1-14 - Comstock Win vs Decatur

The boys varsity team was tested mightily on Thursday night during their road game vs. Decatur. The Colts jumped out to a quick 12-4 lead, but behind hot shooting Decatur was able to take and maintain the lead throughout the second and third quarters. Down by 11 points at one point during the second half, the Colts utilized active team defense to turn turnovers into easy buckets. After taking the lead in the 4th quarter, the boys showed great discipline in the final moments to seal another conference victory. The offense was paced by Israel Patterson (19 points), Josh Allan (10 points) and DJ Howard (10 points). The Colts have two big time matchups next week (Centerville and White Pigeon) as they look to maintain their top spot in the Southwest 10 conference. 

1-11 - Comstock 60 - Mendon 29

The varsity boys got out to a lackluster start Tuesday night in a conference matchup against Mendon, leading only 6-5 at the end of the first quarter. Turnovers and a lack of effort plagued the Colt early on, but they managed to make positive changes during the second half en route to a 60-29 victory. The Colts offense was paced by Israel Patterson, who poured in 23 points, as well as JR Kellum and DJ Howard (11 points apiece). Amarion White (8 points) also contributed in major ways, particularly on the defensive end during key second half runs. The Colts move to 3-1 with a game at Decatur tomorrow night. 


12-14 - Comstock 56 - Hartford 42


Comstock Varsity boys basketball team defeated Hartford last night at home 56-42. Some early foul trouble kept the game close in the first half, but the Colts outscored Hartford 31 to 18 in the second half. Israel Patterson led the way in scoring with 19 points, Josh Allan added 14 points and JR Kellum had 10 points. 

12-7 - Comstock 47 - Parchment 80

Comstock boys basketball team started off the season last night against a tough Parchment team. The Colts short handed were defeated 80-47. Even in defeat it was great to see the team battle and play hard throughout the whole game. Israel Patterson led the Colts in scoring with 25 points, DJ Howard added 9 points. A group of Freshman Davon Gordon, Tyler Baker and Kevin Owens did a great job in there first varsity basketball action.
