5-26 - MHSAA District Quarter
Comstock 0 - Buchanan 5

The girls varsity soccer team lost to Buchanan in districts yesterday 5-0. The lady colts ended the season at 8-9-1. Mackenzie Moore and Sophia Kokalas and  Abbi Jepkema all with strong performances.

5-20 - Comstock 2 - Schoolcraft 1

The girls varsity soccer team was victorious over kva opponent school craft last night 2-1 improving their record to 8-8-1. Emily Veenhuis had both goals for the colts. Kaytlin shoemaker angel bell and Lauren Bonds. Our next game is at home on Tuesday against Buchanan at 6.

5-18 - Comstock 4 - Watervliet 1

The girls soccer team battled to a 4-1 victory over watervliet last night with Emily Veenhuis scoring another hat trick and Audrey Douglas adding another. Good defensive performance by Taylor James Sophie Kokalas and Miranda Cannon. I'd also like to honor Lisa Way and Mistie McMakin in senior night.

5-12 - Comstock 3 - Coloma 0

The Comstock girls held coloma scoreless with a 3-0 win. Emily Veenhuis scored all three goals for the lady colts. Great defense by Miranda Cannon Taylor James and Sophia Kokalas. Good midfield play by Samantha Huffstutter and Abbi Jepkema and great effort by Rachel Johnson. Great job ladies!! Our next home game is Monday against watervliet.

5-6 - Comstock 4 - Saugatuck 2

The Comstock girls soccer team held off a late game surge by saugatuck to win 4-2.  Emily Veenhuis with a hat trick and Taylor James added one. Abbi Jepkema  Sophie Kokalas and Sammy Huffstutter.

5-4 - Comstock 2 - Schoolcraft 1 OT

The lady colts had a battle on their hands with school craft  last night. The girls soccer team won 2-1 in overtime with Taylor James and Emily Veenhuis scoring for the colts. Giving us our first conference win. With excellent play by Rachel Johnson  Lisa Way and Audrey Douglas.

5-1 - Comstock 1 - Fennville 5

The Comstock girls soccer team was up 1-0 to Fennville Friday night only to give up 5 goals to them second half for a 5-1 loss. Emily Veenhuis scored the only goal for the colts. Next game is Monday against Schoolcraft.

4-29 - Comstock 0 - Parchment 5

Comstock girls soccer team came to play Wednesday night against KVA co-leader Parchment. The girls played there hearts out but fell short 5-0. Excellent stepping to the ball and all around pressure help us. The backbone of our defense led by Taylor James helped stop their tremendous offense. Our keeper Callie James, defenders Katy Way, Miranda Cannon and Mistie McMakin. Our next game is Friday against Fennville.

4-27 - Comstock 0 - Kalamazoo Christian 8

The Comstock girls soccer team faced a tough Kalamazoo Christian team last night and lost 8-0. Callie James stopped 24 of 32 shots on goal. With a lot of stellar saves mixed in. Kalamazoo Christian never stopped pressuring our girls and wore us down. Great field play by Katy Way and Misty McMakin.

4-22 - Comstock 4 - Bangor 5

Comstock girls soccer team lost a heart breaker to Bangor last night 5-4. The lady colts were up 1 goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game and let in 1 goal over the keepers head and 1 off of our own player with less than 4 minutes left. Goals by the colts we Emily Veenhuis with 2 and Taylor James and Sophie Kokalas each adding one. The colts play maple valley at home on Friday. Come on out and cheer on the colts!

4-20 - Comstock 0 - Hackett 5

The Comstock girls soccer team faced a tough Hackett team last night and lost 5-0. The colts played much better soccer the second half and never gave up but Hackett was just a better team. Strong performances by keeper Callie James, defender Taylor James and forward Emily Veenhuis.

4-17 - Comstock 1 - Buchanan 4

The Comstock girls soccer team suffered their second loss of the season to Buchanan 4-1. Emily Veenhuis had our only goal of the game.  Most girls played the whole game and played tough till the end. With good midfield play by Samantha Huffstutter and MacKenzie Moore.

4-15 - Comstock 1 - Hartford 1


The girls soccer team came away with a tough 1-1 tie last night against Hartford with Emily Veenhuis scoring the only goal. With strong  performances by Angel Bell, Lauren Bonds, and Kaitlin Shoemaker.

4-13 - Comstock 0 - Delton-Kellogg 2

Last night the lady colts lost a tough soccer match 2-0 to Delton. The girls gave up both goals in the first half. It was a great game with great performances from Abbi Jepkema, Sammy Huffstutter, and Taylor James.

3-25 - Comstock 2 - Olivet 0


Comstock opened the season with a 2-0 win over Olivet.  Emily Veenhuis came away with both goals.  Misty McMakin and Samantha Huffstutter both had an assist.   In a great joint effort,  our defense and keeper Lauren Bonds, worked together to give us a much deserved shut out.
