Comstock FoundationThe Comstock Public Schools Foundation is organized exclusively for the benefit of the educational, literary, and scientific activities of the Comstock Public Schools, including scholarships and grants to students and teachers.

The graduating class of 2015 had many scholarship recipients and we’d like to share the good news with our Comstock Community!

There were two recipients of the Charles A. Pratt Memorial Scholarship of $500.00 for applicants planning on pursuing a 2-4 year law related curriculum and a 2.8 GPA or greater over 7 semesters. Congratulations to Morgan Baker and Mistie McMakin!

There was one recipient of the Howard Ewles Scholarship of $500.00 which recognizes one graduating senior majoring in math or science with a 3.3 GPA or greater. Congratulations to Jenna Le!

There was one recipient of the Mary E. Roe Scholarship of $2500 a year for 4 years for a recipient pursuing a four-year degree in engineering or science with an overall GPA of 3.0 or greater. Congratulations again to Jenna Le!

There was one recipient of the Edith S. Leighty Scholarship and Exemplary Student Award of $250.00 a year for 4 years which is based on the recipient’s ACT score, GPA, extracurricular participation and citizenship. Congratulations to Kathryn Way!

There were 9 recipients, each receiving $2000.00, of the James W. and Lois I. Richmond Scholarship Fund for students who have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.75, have shown leadership both in school and community activities, and who will be attending WMU, Kalamazoo College, or KVCC. Congratulations to Jade Bruner, Monica Cannon, Zachary Cline, Coree Hamstra, Elizabeth Heimann, Alexander McComb, Skylar Rizzolo, Bailey Schoy, and Mason Terburg.
