The PSAT testing will be done October 13, 2010 in the Colt Center at 7:30 a.m. This is the only opportunity for junior students to qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.  Sophomores are encouraged to take the PSAT as a practice test for the National Merift Scholarship and the SAT.  If you wish to register for this test, please bring your payment in the amount of $13 (checks payable to "Comstock High School") to Mrs. Vereeke or Mrs. Ansel. Seating is limited so don't delay in registering!

All freshmen will be taking the 9th Grade MEAP Social Studies test on October 20, 2010.  This test will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Colt Center and the Cafeteria.

All Comstock High School Sophomores will be taking the PLAN Test on March 2, 2011 in assigned testing rooms.  The PLAN has a helpful interest section that will assist with career/college major planning.  It will also give a "prediction" of how the student will do on the ACT.  Students can then work on subject areas they need to strengthen.  This testing opportunity will give students practice with this type of test.

  Did you know. . . that the ACT college admissions test is accepted by every four year college/university in the nation? Michigan is an ACT state and our juniors and seniors are offered one or two free vouchers to take the ACT as part of the Michigan Merit Exam (MME).

What is the National Career Readiness Certificate?   This certificate certifies that a student earned a score of 3 or higher on the WorkKey components included in Spring MME testing in these areas:  Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information.

What does this certificate do for me?   The National Career Readiness Certificate number can be included on resumes, or presented to potential employers.

How do I obtain my certificate number?   log in to www.myworkkeys.com to register your eligiblity.  By registering, qualifying students will receive their FREE verifiable certificate number. Students who are enrolled in Advanced Placement classes have the opportunity to take the College Board Advanced Placement examinations May 2-13, 2011 for college credit. Registration for AP examinations will begin February 21-25, 2011.
