I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1998 and began teaching at Martin Middle School in 1999. For two years I had the unique opportunity to teach with those that had taught me, and it was an experience I will never forget. I took a position at Comstock North East Middle School in 2001 where I taught 7th grade Math and Social Studies, and 8th grade US History. After seven years I moved to Comstock High School teaching US History (20th Century), World History, and Yearbook for three years.
In 2010, I transferred to Comstock Compass High School where I now teach 20th Century History, Careers, Geography, and Odyssey Ware. I have truly enjoyed every position, but this is the position I get the most.
Outside of school, I love to read, garden, walk and spend time with friends and family.
