5-16 - Comstock 0 - Lawton 8

Hosting Lawton with only 10 players, the Colts played with courage and never gave up but fell 0-8 to a Lawton team that would have been hard to beat at full strength.

5-15 - Comstock 1 - Constantine 1

The Mighty Colts hosted non-conference Constantine on a windy evening. It was a pretty even game in all aspects, but Constantine were able to pour shots on goalie Rowan Hagenbuch, who collected an astounding 32 total saves on the night, only allowing 1 goal which she still got a firm glove on. The Colts were first to strike as Camryn Jackson gained their back line and drilled a shot into the goalie, but collected the rebound and lifted it over goalie to give us a 1-0 lead. Constantine scored on a scrappy play in front of the goal as a defensive clearance bounced right to a Constantine attacker. The first half ended tied 1-1.
After a 2nd half of good passing and pressing by both teams, the game ended fittingly tied 1-1.

5-12 - Comstock 0 - Marcellus 2

The Colts travelled to Marcellus for our 2nd conference meeting of the season. Rowan Hagenbuch was again up to the task in goal, scooping up 17 big saves on the day, but we were unable to find the back of the net vs their tough defense. We had plenty of chances and generated plenty of offense but just couldn't get one past their goalie. Marcellus and Comstock played hard but it was the hosts that won the day. Marcellus beats Comstock 2-0. We played well and left it all on the field that day. On to the next.

5-10 Parchment Tournament
Game 2 - Comstock 3 - Bangor 1

More familiar faces arrive as Bangor steps into the 3rd-place game vs the mighty Colts. Nike Flamm put Camryn Jackson through the back line of Bangor and after an initial save from the goalie, Camryn collected the rebound and scored. Bangor is well coached and will never give up, and through their efforts tied the game at 1-1. Rowan collected 10 saves by the end, and that is how regulation time concluded and we went into a penalty kick shootout.

Bangor kicked first - after a fortunate miss from Bangor, Ella Harris buried her shot past the Bangor goalie, 1-0 Comstock so far. Bangor scored on a well taken PK to make it 1-1. Nike stepped to the penalty spot and scored giving us a 2-1 lead after 4 shots. Rowan Hagenbuch was in goal and snatched the next Bangor shot for a great one-handed save. Next, Camryn placed her shot past the goalie, giving us the 3-1 lead after 6 shots. Bangor had to make their last 2 shots in order to have a chance, but Rowan came up with another big save to close the game and give the Colts 3rd place.

5-10 - Parchment Tournament
Game 1 - Comstock 0 - Hartford 3

We take on inter-conference foe Hartford, who had beaten us twice already this season. We tried our best and generated chances to score, but couldn’t get on the board this game. Despite holding them to fewer shots than normal, they still scored 3 on us in the run of play. Rowan Hagenbuch collected 9 saves. Hartford wins 3-0 and Comstock moves to the consolation game.

5-5 - Comstock 5 - Bloomingdale 3

The Comstock Colts hosted inter-conference Bloomingdale on a great night for outdoor sports. The visitors were the first to strike, going up 1-0. Soon after, their lead vanished as freshmen Sydney Woods (assisted on a great cross by Nike Flamm who also had 4 shots on goal) and Camryn Jackson (assisted by Sydney) both found the back of the net. It was back and forth after that, with the score being tied at 2-2 and then 3-3. The Colts kept their rhythm on attack and struck 2 more times and the game ended 5-3 for a goal-fest and highly entertaining game to watch. Rowan Hagenbuch was in goal and scooped up 25 saves! Sydney finished with 3 goals and 2 assists – making her the Plunderer of Points on the day. Camryn ended up just about the same with 2 goals and 2 assists. Freshmen carried the bulk of the offense tonight while the old guard in Juniors Ella Harris, Rose DeLeeuw, Rowan in goal along with Freshmen Maddi DeGraw held the back line.

4-30 - Comstock 2 - Marcellus 1

The Colts had the honor of defending their home turf against the Wildcats, even with a beat-up roster while we wait for multiple injuries to heal. We knew that this would be a physical, even match. This was true as each team shot many times and possession of the ball was even. With the game tied 0-0 with about 5 minutes to play in the game, Marcellus struck first with a scrappy play inside our penalty area. With 5 minutes remaining, we knew we had plenty of time to get several more chances to score. Freshmen Camryn Jackson broke in behind the defense and was taken down outside the penalty area. She stepped up and scored the ensuing free kick to the back post on a lovely shot as we pull even at 1-1. With one minute remaining, junior Ella Harris slotted Camryn down the left wing, and their goalie game out to cut the angle. After evading the advanced goalie and her defenders, Camryn saw a slim opening to shoot for and threaded the needle, scoring the winning goal. The Wildcats knew that even a minute left can provide 1 or 2 opportunities but we held strong and didn’t allow a tying goal. Rowan Hagenbuch did well as she had to step in goal for the injured Natalie Tidd and had 17 saves on the night. With a few players in new positions, we did very well adapting and covering injured starters. Great play by all, including a certain goal from Marcellus saved off the line by Ella, Maddi DeGraw starting at defense for the first time and playing the whole game there, and Karma Sparks playing the entire game on the right wing as Nike held the central midfield.

4-28 - Comstock 1 - Hartford 4

Like the first game vs Hartford, the Colts came out firing, scoring first on a great one-timer goal from junior captain Rowan Hagenbuch, assisted by a long cross from Nike Flamm. We continued to play well and it was a back and forth game the whole way. Unfortunately for the win column, Hartford scored 4 unanswered goals throughout the rest of the game. It was an even match with plenty of opportunities on the attacking end for both team. It was hard fought and one of those game where the shots were the same amount for each school but more went in for Hartford, and that’s the way it goes sometimes even when you play very well.

4-24 - Comstock 6 - Springport 6

Comstock fans were treated to a goal-fest as Springport came to town. The Colts jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead as Camryn Jackson rolled in a first-half hat-trick, all 3 assisted by Rowan Hagenbuch. The visitors came out ready in the 2nd half, and scored a couple to make it 3-2. Undeterred, the Colts struck 3 more times with a penalty kick by Nike Flamm, a far side crash tap in by Sydney Woods, and a 4th goal from Camryn to complete her Texas hat-trick. Springport were relentless and never gave up, and scored 4 goals in the final 5 minutes and the game ended in a 6-6 tie.

4-23 - Comstock 0 - Covert 2

Covert were ready to fiercely defend their home turf. Even though the Colts rained shots and drove into the penalty area multiple times each half, the net remained untouched and the game ended 0-2 for Covert as they scored twice on the few chances they had.

4-21 - Comstock 1 - Bangor 2

The Colts travelled to Bangor for their first conference game with the Vikings this season. Bangor proved up to the task, and scored 2 early goals in the first half from quickly played through-balls across the middle. Once we adjusted to that and shut it down, we carried the game the final 15-20 minutes of the first half and the entire second half. All but one of our chances fell short of getting into the back of the net. Only Camryn Jackson scored on an unassisted goal early in the second half. We turned up the intensity and were the better team, and we were happy with the game even though it ended up a loss, 1-2 to the Vikings. Natalie Tidd was in goal and scooped up 10 saves for the Colts.
Freshman Sydney Woods turned in her best performance of the year as she attacked well and had to defend their best player in the second half.

4-18 - Comstock 6 - Coloma 0

The Colts leaned on their experience as we visited a very young Coloma team, which had 9 freshmen playing. Pressure was they key for not allowing Coloma to develop a rhythm, and even though the Coloma goalie was great and up to the task, the Colts found the back of the net 6 times with 3 different attackers. The Comstock net was minded by Natalie Tidd and Rowan, sharing the shutout while fronted by the back line which rotated Bree Parker, Ella Harris, Ayva Dozeman, Nike Flamm, Sydney Woods, Sky Ramirez, Breeze VanHorn, and Rose DeLeeuw. Abby Welsh, Hannah Johnson and Yaliha Cortez patrolled the midfield well this game. Junior Captain Rowan Hagenbuch tallied a hat trick – 2 of which were assisted by Nike and Maddie, respectively. Sydney Woods had her 2nd goal of the season, assisted by Maddie as well. Freshman Camryn Jackson rolled in a brace, one of which was assisted by Maddie, the manager of assists on the evening. The final result was 6-0 for Comstock

4-16 - Comstock 2 - Bloomingdale 1

Bloomingdale fiercely defended their home turf, scoring first from a scramble in the penalty area. Comstock answered soon after as Camryn Jackson dribbled a couple of defenders and gained the penalty area. Brooke Schwenk then took a shot which turned into more of a cross in the end, as Freshman Sydney Woods pounced on it at the back post and finished for her first Varsity goal. The first half ended 1-1. Comstock scored on a free kick from Nike Flamm, as she drove her strike just over the goalie and under the crossbar. After many saves from stand-in goalie Rowan Hagenbuch (14 saves on the day), the game ended in victory, 2-1 for the Colts. Kendyl and Ella Harris, Bree Parker and Rose DeLeeuw were exceptional in the main defensive formation. Several players played multiple positions for this gritty conference victory.

4-14 - Comstock 4 - Parchment 1

Parchment came out strong with good passing through the middle and across their front line. They jumped to a 1-0 lead early in the first half after a scramble in the penalty area. The Colts answered before the half was over, as Camryn Jackson scored Comstock's first goal of the game, from an assist by Nike Flamm. The score was 1-1 at halftime. The Colts took the field ready to take the game over, and did so with 3 unanswered goals. First up was Brooke Schwenk scoring her 2nd goal of the season, assisted by Rowan Hagenbuch. After the defensive line of juniors Ella and Kendyl Harris, Bree Parker and sophomore Rose DeLeeuw refused to give up another goal, Rowan scored one of her own - her second of the season - assisted by Camryn. The third goal of the half was scored by sophomore Lily Gilbert, who dribbled the Panther defense and scored after Camryn found her on the run for her 2nd assist of the game. Natalie Tidd was great in goal, grabbing up 8 saves.

4-11 - Comstock 1 - Hartford 4

The Colts started the 2025 season versus a much improved Hartford team. Junior captain Rowan Hagenbuch opened up the scoring with a fine shot, assisted by junior Ella Harris. Hartford started to connect on their long passes and scored 4 unanswered goals from the run of play. Newcomer Brooke Schwenk tallied another Comstock goal, assisted by freshman Camryn Jackson to make it 2-4, which is where the game ended.  Goalkeeper Natalie Tidd recorded 10 saves in her first game for the Colts. Newcomers Sky Ramirez, Karma Sparks, Nike Flamm and Breeze VanHorn, joined Freshmen Yaliha Cortez, Ayva Dozeman, Sydney Woods, and Maddex DeGraw in getting their first minutes as a Varsity Colt.
