2-15 - Comstock 24 - Kalamazoo Christian 45

The boys traveled to Kalamazoo Christian tonight. On a cold and snowy night it was evident early on the young colts didn’t have enough to win the game. The boys all played hard but in the end lost 45-24. The colts were lead by Davon Gardner with 9 points. Rocco Anglin, Dominic Langdon and Cayden Schultz all played great defense in the loss.

2-12 - Comstock 38 - Galesburg-Augusta 36

The 8th grade boys hosted Galesburg Friday evening for their only home game of the season. The boys found themselves in a deficit right away. Galesburg was very well prepared for the young colts. As the game went on the boys found their swagger and tightened up on defense. Omni McKinley lead the way on offense with 15 points. He had countless steals to help with the comeback along with Tyler Baker who scored 12 points from his many forced turnovers. Isaac Gostlin added 2 points along with many key stops on defense as the boys won the game 38-36. The team will travel to Kalamazoo Christian on Monday for their next contest.


 
2-10 - Comstock 24 - Constantine 27

The 8th grade boys traveled to Constantine to restart their basketball season. It was a fast start for the young Colts but in the end they would end up taking a tough loss. The boys played hard the entire game being lead defensively by Tyler Baker with 10 points all coming off defensive steals. Omni McKinley played a key role in the paint scoring 9 points. Cayden Schultz came in and grabbed key rebounds during the game scoring 2 points as well. The final score was 27-24.

11-11 - Comstock 34 - Constantine 26


The boys traveled to Constantine to play on Wednesday evening. Everyone contributed in some way for the team to get the first win of the season. The score was 34-26 in the colts favor. The boys were lead by Omni McKinley with 12 points. Tyler Baker followed with 8 points also leading the defensive effort with 5 steals and 3 blocks. Isaac Gostlin lead the way the entire game with his effort on both sides of the court. The boys travel to Gobles on Monday.

11-9 - Comstock 26 - Schoolcraft 36

The boys traveled to Schoolcraft to play their first game of the season. It was a a hard fought game until the last couple of minutes. Schoolcraft pulled away to take the victory 36-26. The colts were Lead by Isaiah Miller and Omni McKinley both   with 6 points followed by Isaac Gostlin with 5 points and great defensive effort.
