2-15 - Comstock 30 - Paw Paw 31
We had a very intense game last night against Paw Paw. We only beat them by 2 last time we played them so they were ready for us. Paw Paw took the lead in the last minute of the game to win.
2-13 - Comstock 23 - Three Rivers 28
Comstock girls came up a little short against Three Rivers. They end up beating us on their home court 28-23 .It was a good game Paige Kean was 3/4 at the line, Lyla Borgert was 3 for 6 in the paint, but just wasn't enough for us to come back and take the win
2-9 - Comstock 30 - Parchment 16
The Lady Colts went up against the Panthers for the second time. Everyone was getting great shots up, all players scored this game everyone was happy and was playing basketball. We were setting up our play and were getting back on defense once the offence missed. Another big win for the girls 30-16.
2-6 - Comstock 22 - South Haven 23
The Lady Colts had a tough game last night losing to south haven 23-22. We had a lead in the first half, beating them 11-7. They come out in a press getting a couple steals keeping this game real close. We got into foul trouble and that's where it hurt us at letting them take the lead and we couldn't come back from it but the girls fought hard and gave it all they got.
2-2 - Comstock 30 - Three Rivers 23
The Lady Colts had another big win at home against Three Rivers. The girls played excellent defense and great help side defense. Sabria Yarbrough did a great job getting the ball up the court and moving it around.
1-30 - Comstock 35 - Parchment 6
The lady colts had their first away game against parchment so they were excited and ready to go. Savannah Zirkelbach had an excellent game starting the game off hot getting us three steals back to back. The girls were doing everything they needed to do, that's what got us the win of 35-6
1-25 - Comstock 18 - Plainwell 30
It was a tough night for the lady colts. Plainwell came out and ready to play. They went straight out pressing us that gave them a 10-0 lead in the first half. Start of the second half we started getting shots up. Sydney Walker and Myla McClenney had great steals and a couple blocks each but just wasn't enough to get us back in the game with a tough loss of 30-18.
1-23 - Comstock 23 - Paw Paw 21
Another big win for the ladies colts last night against paw paw. Started the first half off very slow letting the team beat us on fast breaks. As the second half is coming up the girls started to pick it backup Savannah Zirkelbach with 3 steals back to back got us the lead by one point. There's 10 seconds left in the game. I called my last time out to tell the girls we need to press and get a steal to win this game. Paige Dean denied the pass and threw it up to Desire for a lay up and got the and one swish and gave us the win 23-21.
1-18 - Comstock Win vs Watervliet
The 6th grade girls team start the season off right with a win against Watervliet. With that being said Desire Anderson lead the team with 15 points. Followed up behind her was Cahmilah Vaughn with 8 points.
