10-8 - SW10 Jamboree #3 at Lawrence
PR’s all day, the final conference meet for the season our young Colts showed off all their hard work. Running Lawrence’s fast course, Dominic Ciaravino ran (13:20.72) finished in 8th, Simon Ludtke (14:29.18) in 17th, Cy Young battled to run a (15:21.02) in 25th, and Charles Reeves ran a (16:05.71) in 29th. Good job to the boys, they’re working hard to finish the season this weekend at Bloomingdale.
10-4 - Allegan Invitational
Another big Saturday meet, with the heat turned up high, and a DNF our boys fought hard to finish. Dominic Ciaravino ran a (14:13.62) in 55th overall, and Cy Young back from injury finished his race with a (17:49.71), good job Cy!
9-24 - SW10 Jamboree #2 at Comstock
Another conference meet for our colts. Dominic Ciaravino finished in 6th, with a great time of (13:40.14). And with a home course advantage Simon Ludtke ran a 2 mile PR (15:20.57) in 17th, and Charles Reeves ran his PR (19:10.36) in 29th place.
9-20 - Bangor Invitational
First Saturday meet of the season, our boys did a good job finishing against tough opponents. Dominic Ciaravino finished in 25th overall.
9-17 - Parchment Classic
Another hot day next door at Parchment. All of our middle schoolers ran a PR for the 1.8 Mile race, way to go! Dominic Ciaravino placed 7th with a speedy time (12:29.87), Simon Ludtke in 25th with (14:33.28), Charles Reeves not far behind (18:16.54). For the girls, Lillian Suarez did a great job coming in 22nd place with a time (17:09.48)
9-13 - Comstock Invitational
These young colts did a great job representing Comstock at our home meet. Dominic Ciaravino ended up just one placement short of a medal, running a (14:32.98), Simon Ludtke behind him with a (15:43.77). On the girls side, Lillian Suarez ran a PR (19:06.86) for the 3200.
9-10 - SW10 Jamboree #1 at Centerville
First conference meet, another hot day with another tough course. Everyone ran a great race, Dominic Ciaravino cruised his way to 6th place. With Simon Ludtke not far behind in 18th! Lillian Suarez, representing our girls team, ran a season record (20:50.47) finishing her race at 15th place. Way to go Colts!
9-4 - Hartford Teske Invitational
Our middle school cross country team opened the season on a tough course at Hartford . With the heat high and a giant hill , this meet was far from easy, but the team showed incredible determination and drive. Dominic Ciaravino led the way with a phenomenal race, not only placing 7th but also setting PR (13:18.86) for 3200 meters. Cy Young also pushed through to earn a PR (18.31.95). The rest of the team ran great, giving us a good start to the season.
