Comstock 21 – Calhoun Christian 7

7th grade girls started their Rising Stars season with a win over Calhoun Christian, 21 to 7.  Macy Cannon had a game high 14 points, with Natalie DeYoung-Foster, Masyn Scott, and Allie Rawlinson all contributing points as well.  Team defense was key in the win, with Megan James forcing turnovers and Sam Nicholson crashing the boards.  It was a great win to start the season!

10-31 – Rising Stars
Comstock 32 – Otsego 22

The 7th grade girls basketball team held off a late charge from Otsego and won 32 to 22.  Hard defense by Hailey Engleman, Allie Rawlinson, and Maya DeYoung-Foster helped keep the lead created by our key offensive players.

11-7 – Rising Stars
Comstock 15 – Plainwell 38
Comstock 43 – Galesburg-Augusta 22

The 7th grade girls basketball team split their games over the weekend.  An early game time and a defensive breakdown lead to a loss to Plainwell 38 to 15.  In the second game the team bounced back nicely, led by Brionna Tiffany's defensive hustle and Karissa Gilley's team high 15 points, to win over Galesburg 43 to 22.
