2-10 - Comstock 19 - Galesburg-Augusta 11

Boys’ varsity bowling won last night against Galesburg – Augusta 19 – 11.  The boys won both baker games with scores of 110 – 105 and 172 – 113. They won their first regular game 649 – 633 and lost the second regular game 698 – 754.  High scorers for the night included Hunter DeLeon with a 164 and a 153; Mathew Searles who shot a 142 and Isaiah Bowling with a 141.

2-5 - Comstock 12 - Hackett 18

Boys’ varsity bowling put up a good fight last night against Hackett, but came up short in the end with a final score of 12 – 18.  They won the first baker game 132 – 124 and lost the second 169 – 187.  The boys lost the first regular game 773 – 857.  They made a strong come back in the second regular game winning 867 – 844.  Mathew Searles shot a 162 along with a 225 to give him a new season high score.  Jeffery Koss also raised his season high score to a 209.  Other high scores included Dalton DeLeon with a 174, Hunter DeLeon with a 173 and Carter Wingler who shot a 155.

1-27 - Comstock 28 - Martin 2

Varsity boys’ bowling brought home the win against Martin Public Schools.  The boys won both baker games with scores of 144 – 98 and 116 – 105.  They also won both regular games with scores of 743 – 573 and 798 – 468.  The boys’ final score was 28 – 2.  Raising his season high score was Matt Searles with a 221, paired with a 174 giving him a season high series of 395.  Michael Khazad also raised his season high single game to 216 along with a 169 to give him a season high series of 385. 

1-22 - Comstock 28 - Saugatuck 2

The boys’ varsity bowling team won 28 – 2 against Saugatuck Public Schools last night.  They won both baker games with scores of 138 – 88 and 140 – 123.  They also won both regular games with scores of 715 – 608 and 672 – 514.  High scores for the night were Mathew Searles with a 179 and a 162, Dalton DeLeon with a 152, and Shawn Cosby with a 146.

1-20 - Comstock 6 - Coloma 24

Boys’ varsity bowling lost to Coloma High School Monday night with a final score of 6 – 24.  They won their first baker game 167 – 165 and lost the second 145 – 159.  They lost their first regular game 730 – 844 and the second 859 – 896.  Dalton DeLeon lead the team with a 151 and a 212 to give him a 363 series.  High scores included Shawn Cosby who shot a 184 game and Hunter DeLeon added a 168 game. 

1-15 - Comstock 22 - Kalamazoo Christian 8

Boys varsity bowling brought home their 7th win in a row against Kalamazoo Christian yesterday.  The boys lost their first baker game 116 – 136, but they came back with a 154 – 125 in the second baker.  They won their first regular game 754 – 747.  They scored their team high score on the second regular game shooting a 1002 – 703.  The boys had a final score of 22 – 8.  High scores included Dalton DeLeon with a 172 along with his personal best of 243, giving him a 415 series; Mathew Searles shot a 159 along with his personal best of 212, giving him a 371 series.  Other personal bests were Jeffery Koss with a 191 and Isaiah Bowling with a 181.

1-13 - Comstock 24.5 - Bronson 5.5

Boys’ varsity bowling put another win in the books against Bronson Community Schools last night.  They won both baker games with scores of 165 – 137 and 163 – 145.  They fought hard and were able to come out ahead in both regular games with scores of 702 – 657 and 783 – 780.  They came in with a 1485 series total and an overall score of 24 ½ - 5 ½.  High scorers for the boys were Hunter DeLeon with a 179 and a 197 for a 376 series, Mathew Searles with a 144, along with his personal best in a match, at 202 for a 346 series, and Mathew Edick with a high score of 151.

1-8 - Comstock 28 - Burr Oak 2

Varsity boys bowling brought home another win last night against Burr Oak Community Schools.  They took the first baker game with a score of 157 – 115 and the second baker coming in at 158 – 108.  They kept their momentum up in the regular games with scores of 784 – 637 and 774 – 754.  In the end, they walked away with a final score of 28 – 2.  High scores for the evening were Shawn Cosby who shot a 191, Dalton DeLeon with a 172, and Jeffery Koss with a 170.

1-6 - Comstock 16 - Parchment 14

It was a tough fight but the boys’ varsity bowling team brought home the win last night against Parchment Public Schools.  The boys lost both baker games but made up for it in the regular games.  They took the first regular match with a score of 837 – 798, the second regular match with an 838 – 827, and the series with 1675 – 1625. Their overall final score was 16 – 14.  High scores included Hunter DeLeon who shot a 224, Shawn Cosby shot a 194, and Mathew Edick with a 193.

12-18 - Comstock 18.5 - Schoolcraft 11.5

The boys’ varsity bowling team brought home their third win last night against Schoolcraft Public Schools.  The boys won the first baker game 165-112 and the second 166-120.  They won the first regular game 826-774, but unfortunately lost the second game 616-681.  In the end they fought hard and came out ahead with a final score of 18.5-11.5.  High scores included Mathew Searles with a 181, Hunter DeLeon with a 176, Michael Khazad with a 175, and Jeffery Koss with a 169.

12-16 - Comstock 29 - Martin 1

Boys’ varsity made it two in a row Monday night, bringing home the win against Martin Public Schools.  They won both baker games with scores of 153-113 and 182-118.  They kept the momentum going in the regular games with scores of 722-494 and 770-617, giving them a 1492 series and a final score of 29-1. High scorers for the night were Mathew Edick with a 231, Michael Khazad with a 168 and Isaiah Bowling with a 160.

12-11 - Comstock 29 - Saugatuck 1

Boys’ varsity took home the win last night against Saugatuck.  The boys won both baker games, 150-134 and 145-82.  They kept their winning streak going in the regular games with a score of 880-650 for the first game and 821-503 for the second game.  These high scores gave the varsity boys a 1701 series for an overall score of 29-1.  The boys were led by Hunter DeLeon with a 192 and a 171 to give him a 363 series, followed right behind by Mathew Searles who shot a 169 and a 193 to give him a 362 series.  High scores included Michael Khazad with a 211, Isaiah Bowling with a 159 and Shawn Cosby with a 157.

12-9 - Comstock 4 - Coloma 26

Boys’ varsity bowling lost to Coloma High School Monday night with a final score of 4-26. They lost their first baker game 171-181 and their second 134-190. They lost their first regular game 722-745 and the second 723-756. Mathew Searles lead the team with a 178 and a 173 to give him a 351 series. Hunter DeLeon shot a 155 and a 170 for a 320 series. High scores included Michael Khazad who shot a 158 game and Isaiah Bowling added a 148 game.
