MS Practice Calendars

Sync to Smart Phone Instructions
Practice Calendars for your Smart Phone

The coaching staff is going to use google calendar for all of our practice schedules and the calendar can be added to your smart phone. I've based these instructions off an iPhone 4s, so hopefully everything is pretty similar if you have a newer phone or an Android.

#1 - You need a gmail account so go to www.google.com and click on gmail at the top right and register for a gmail account. If you already have one, go to the next step.

#2 – Go to www.comstockps.org and go to a particular sport page and click on Calendar on the left and then scroll down to the bottom and click on the google calendar button on the bottom right and then enter your new gmail address and password.

#3 - You should go right to a google calendar site where it will ask you if you want to add the information to your calendar.  After you add it, if you click on "other calendars" at the left and it should show up.

You are now done with the gmail site and can add to your smart phone.

#4 - On your smart phone go into "settings" then "mail, contacts, calendars" then "add account" then "google or gmail" and then enter your name, gmail address and password. This will give you the opportunity to sync the calendar with your iphone calendar.

#5 - Next, go into your smart phone safari browser and type in

http://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect

and it will give you an opportunity to check the particular calendar box. Once you do, it will take a few minutes to sync on your phone.

#6 - Lastly, go into your iphone calendar and touch "calendar" at the bottom and the new calendar should show up once it syncs. You can then control the schedule showing up on your phone by having it checked or not checked by just touching it.
