5-6 - Comstock 9 - Hartford 4

Comstock won on the road vs Hartford 9-4. Lydia Kruis opened the scoring with her solitary goal while Kayla Berg led all scorers with 4 goals. Leslie Ramirez and Anna Putti each had 2, with both of Putti's goals coming off of headers from corner kicks. Comstock travels to Bridgman on Monday.

5-5 - Comstock 7 - Buchanan 1

Comstock defeated Buchanan Wednesday by a score of 7-1. Kayla Berg, Maya DeYoung-Foster, and Anna Putti each put in 2 goals while Litzy Ramirez added one of her own to close out the game. Comstock travels to take on Hartford on Thursday.

5-3 - Comstock 5 - LMC 4

Comstock traveled Monday to take on St Joseph Lake Michigan Catholic and won in a close one by a margin of 5-4. Kayla Berg led all scorers with a hat-trick and Lydia Kruis put in 2 more from long distance. LMC rallied late to bring it within 1 and had several chances at the equalizer but goalkeeper Summer Beavers and the defense remained strong to close out the game with the win. The Colts host Buchanan this Wednesday.

4-30 - Comstock 4 - Saugatuck 4

Comstock hosted Saugatuck Friday night in a wild game that ended in a 4-4 tie. The Colts took the lead early with a goal from Kayla Berg and a goal from Lydia Kruis that went in from 40 yards out. Comstock then gave up 4 in a row in a flurry of quick goals from Saugatuck to come to the half down 4-2. Berg added a second goal off of a perfectly placed corner kick from Litzy Ramirez and Maya DeYoung-Foster added a goal of her own to draw even with Saugatuck. The Colts travel next to Lake Michigan Catholic next Monday.

4-28 - Comstock 1 - South Haven 9

Comstock's 5-game win streak was snapped Wednesday night at South Haven by a Margin of 9-1. Comstock's only goal was the game opener when Lydia Kruis found Kayla Berg in stride on a one-timer cross from the left side. The Colts look to rebound Friday at home against Saugatuck.

4-23 - Comstock 1 - Parchment 0

Comstock defeated Parchment on Friday by a score of 1-0. In a frenetic final minute of gameplay Comstock put several shots on goal and Senior Maya DeYoung-Foster was fouled in the penalty area while trying to put back a rebound. Junior Kayla Berg made the ensuing penalty kick with 35 seconds remaining and Comstock held out until the final whistle to secure the victory. Comstock looks to extend its winning streak to 5 tonight at home against Niles-Brandywine.

4-20 - Comstock 9 - Covert 0

Comstock girls soccer defeated Covert by a margin of 9-0. Senior sisters Natalie and Maya DeYoung-Foster led all scorers with 2 goals a piece. Also making the stat-sheet with goals of their own were seniors Megan James, Leslie Ramirez, and Julia Kruis, sophomore Lydia Kruis, and freshman Summer Beavers. The Colts travel to take on Parchment this Friday.

4-19 - Comstock 4 - Niles 1

Comstock girls soccer defeated Niles 4-1 in a game in which freshman goalkeeper Summer Beavers was the difference, saving 23 of 24 shots on goal. Sophomore Lydia Kruis led all scorers with 2 goals with juniors Madigan Webster and Kayla adding the remaining 2. The Colts look to continue their win-streak Tuesday at home versus Covert.

4-14 - Comstock 9 - Berrien Springs 1

Comstock girls soccer defeated Berrien Springs by a 9-1 margin. Senior Leslie Ramirez opened up the scoring and masterfully found the back of the net from 30 yards out while sophomore Lydia Kruis led all players with 3 goals on 8 shots as well as providing an assist. Senior Maya DeYoung-Foster and Sophomore Litzy Ramirez each had 2 goals apiece and Junior Kayla Berg chipped in 1 with a pair of assists as well. The defense, led by Seniors Megan James and Natalie DeYoung-Foster, was stingy - holding Berrien to only 1 goal on a just 3 shot attempts, Freshman goalkeeper Summer Beavers saving the other 2. The Colts look to continue their momentum on the road next Monday vs Niles.

4-10 - Comstock 0 - Schoolcraft 8
4-10 - Comstock 0 - Loy Norrix 8

It was a tough night at the Loy Norrix mini tournament as Comstock was held scoreless in a double-header. Lydia Kruis, Maya DeYoung Foster, and Kayla berg all had promising runs at the goal but ultimately couldn't find the back of the net.
