9-24 - Comstock 26 - Hartford 0

The Varsity Football Team traveled to Hartford for a conference game Friday night and came away with a 26-0 win. The win is the first shutout since  week 8 of the 2007 season. It's the 5th such win in the last 20 years for the program. The team was led offensively by Owen Drake and Israel Patterson. Drake completed 9 passes for 245 yards and 3 TD's. He also rushed for a TD. Patterson caught 5 passes for 214 yards and 3TD's. Defensively, the team was led by Kevin Owens who picked up 16 tackles, 3 TFL's, 1 PBU and 1 INT. DJ Howard had 12 tackles, 3 for loss and 2 INT's. Comstock is now 3-2 on the season and travels to Decatur Friday night. 

9-10 - Comstock 0 - Cassopolis 28

The Varsity Football Team traveled to Cassopolis Friday night for their first conference game of the season. The Colts ultimately fell 0-28 in this contest. There were some strong performances and the team played tough throughout the game. The offensive passing attack was led by Owen Drake, who went 2/6 for 30 yards through the air. Seven different Colts ran the ball. The leading rusher was Masson Mollohan with 36 yards on 9 carries. Israel Patterson was the team's leading receiver with 2 catches for 30 yards. Patterson also intercepted a pass on defense. Masson Mollohan, Israel Patterson and Nate Matthews were the team's leading tacklers. 

9-2 - Comstock 32 - Allegan 18

Comstock Varsity Football hosted Allegan Thursday night and came away with their second victory of the season. Comstock won 32-18. Owen Drake scored twice with a passing TD and a rushing TD. Nate Matthews rushed for two TD's. Comstock added another TD defensively with a fumble recovery in the endzone and scored two points defensively on a safety. Go Colts.

8-26 - Comstock 50 - Coloma 6

The Varsity Football team traveled to Coloma Thursday night for their first game of the season and came home with a strong victory, defeating Coloma 50-6. The defense played well, holding Coloma to just 6 points and 94 total offensive yards. Leading tacklers for the Colts were DJ Howard, Nate Matthews, Masson Mollohan and Israel Patterson. The offense also had a dominant performance scoring 50 points, with 5 different Colts finding the endzone.  The passing attack was led by Owen Drake who completed 5 passes on 6 attempts for 140 yards and 2 TD's. Drake added two additional rushing TD's as well. Jacob Rooney carried the ball 12 times for 110 yards and a TD. Israel Patterson caught 3 passes for 98 yards and a TD. Masson Mollohan caught 1 pass for an 11 yard TD. Great Job. Go Colts.
