The 3rd grade Stampede boys fought hard in Jonesville this weekend, but ended up 0-3 on the day. In the first game, Comstock lost 11-23 to Onsted with Ethan Rider scoring all 11 points. In the second game, the Stampede lost 14-37 to St. Johns, Ethan Rider had 13 points with Kevin Owens chipping in 1. The last game, Comstock fought hard, but lost to Fremont 22-25. Ethan Rider had 20 points , with Tyler Baker adding 2. Isaac Gostlin played great defense on the day with many steals and rebounds.

Comstock 12 - Springport 21
Only had 5 boys on the day. They lost the first game vs ? 18-26. Second game went into overtime against olivet but lost 22-26, and only had 4 players in overtime. They lost to Springport 12-21 in the 3rd game. The five boys played their hearts out, but ran out of steam. Isaac Gostlin, Tyler Baker, Ben Penteller, Kevin Owens, and Ethan Rider played great all day.

Stampede boys went 0-3 in the Comstock tournament. In the first game, they lost to Sturgis 21-26. Ethan Rider scored 18 points, Isaac Gostlin and Tyler Baker had 2 points, and Michael Howes had 1. In the second game, they lost to Hanover Horton 12-21. Ethan Rider scored 6 points, Isaac Gostlin had 4 points and Tyler Baker added 2. In the third game, they lost to Constantine 13-29. Ethan Rider had 8 points, Isaac Gostlin and Nehimiah Reha scored 2 and Ben Peteller added 1.

The 3rd grade Comstock basketball team won both games against Galesburg saturday. In the first game the colts won 24-10. Ethan rider led the way offensively with 12 points, followed by Ben Pelletier with 6, Tyler Baker, Michael Howes, Kevin Owens with two pointh each. Skylar Byers and Lyrix Smith played great defense in the game. In th second game the colts won 16-11. Ethan Rider led the way again with 6 points and some great assists. Ben Pelletier, Kevin Owens, Tyler Baker, Isaac Gostlin, and Nehimiah Rhea all with 2 points each. In both games The colts played very unselfish passing the ball around.

The Comstock 3rd grade boys basketball team lost to mattawan 4th grade team on Saturday. Leading the colts was Ethan Rider with 8 points and Kevin Owens chipping in 1.
