The stamped finished in third place with a 2 in 2 record in this weekends comstock tourney, losing only to the top two teams in the tourney. The highlight of the day was the stampedes victory over a great opponent in Saugatuck. Josh Gordon lead the offense and put the stampede in a position to win the game at the end. With 4 seconds left, the stampede found themselves down 1 point.  Jason Kovach was fouled and banked in two free throws under tremendous pressure to seal the victory for the stampede. The best victory of the year for the stampede and a great way to end the season.
 
Michigan Center Tournament

The Stampede lost their first two games in pool play, but turned their day around with a first round win in the tournament against Jackson.  A close game throughout the stampede held on for a 2 point win after the first overtime.  Jacob Wells, Josh Gordon and Michael Khazad led the stamped in scoring and Jason Kovach lead the defense.  The Stampede finished 3rd in the tournament out of 6 teams. 
 
Hillsdale Tournament
2-23 - Comstock 35 - Fremont 8
2-23 - Comstock 18 - Chelsea 28
2-23 - Comstock 17 - Ft. Wayne 40
The stamped started the Hillsdale tournament strong with a big win over Fremont. Against Chelsea, the stampede kept it close, but were unable to keep up with them, falling behind in the second half for their first loss.  The stamped then finished the day off against a solid Ft Wayne team that lead the whole game.  The stamped played hard throughout the day and were lead by Michael Khzaad and Jacob Wells.
 
Harper Creek Tournament

The Stampede played tough all weekend, but were out matched by their opponents in all four games.  Jacob Wells was the leading scorer for the stampede in all their games, but an improving and more consistent team defense, lead by Brennan Knoblock and Jason Kovach, kept the games close.

 

Comstock Tournament
2-10 - Comstock 30 - Athens 7
2-10 - Comstock 8 - Marshall 36
2-10 - Comstock 23 - Decatur 25
In their first game, the Stampede beat Athens 30-7. Team defense and great offense lead to big victory.  The stamped lost to Marshall in their second game, 36-8.  The stampede played a great game in their third game Vs Decatur, but fell short in last few minutes to suffer a tough loss 25-23.  Jacob Wells and Michael Khazzad lead the Stamped throughout the day in scoring.

The stampede finished 1-2 in pool play this past weekend in coloma and 3rd place in the 5th grade tournament overall. The stampede where lead by Jacob Wells in every game, great overall performance from Jason Kovach and Brennan Knoblock throughout the day, they lead the stampede in steals and rebounding.

12-15 - Comstock 18 - Hanover 16
12-15 - Comstock 24 - Climax 34
The Stampede was lead by Jacob Wells in the first game with 20 points.  Michael Khzaad had 4 points and Jacob Wells had 8 in the 2nd game.  In the last game of the day, Michael Khzaad lead the team with 10 points.
 
12-8 - Comstock 35 - Parchment 16

The Comstock Stampede beat parchment over the weekend 35-16. The Stampede played great team defense, lead by Jason Kovach and Gavin Bierma. Jacob wells had 13 points, Josh Gordon had 10 points,  Michael Khzaad and Brennan Knoblock both had 6 points to lead the stampede to their second straight victory.

12-1 Comstock 50 - Galesburg 8

The Stampede of Comstock won their first game of the season, beating Galesburg. Jacob Wells had 22 points, Brennan Knoblock had 7 points, Josh Gordon had 6 points, Michael Khzaad had 16 points and Jason Kovach had 4 points to lead the way for the Stampede. The Stamped played great defense throughout the entire game and held their opponent to 8 total points.

11-17 - Comstock 22 - Coloma 25

The Stampede lost a close game to Coloma over the weekend 25-22. Great team defense kept it close throughout. Jacob Wells had 13 points, Michael Khazzad had 5 and Josh Gordon added 4 points to lead the Stampede.

11-17 - Comstock 13 - Stevensville 55
The Stampede also lost to a great Stevensville team 55-13 and were lead again by Jacob Wells who had 8 points.
 
11-10 - Comstock 20 - Climax 35

On Saturday the Stampede team lost a close game to Climax.  Michael Khazad and Josh Gordon lead the way for the colts with 8 points and 6 points.  Defense was lead by Jason Kovach and Jacob Wells
