2-20 - Comstock 44 - Decatur 29
To close out the season, the Colts were missing big man Wyatt Wilkins, but they didn’t miss a beat. They shared the ball well, played top-tier defense, and had fun while doing it. Kedan Duff led the Colts with a game-high 11 points, while Zyrell Yarber added 10. The highlight of the game came in the fourth quarter when Kodie Payne sank a dagger basket, securing the win and putting Decatur away!
2-18 - Comstock 39 - Marcellus 52
Coming into the game, the Colts were still in a bit of a funk. They fell behind early against Marcellus and struggled to bounce back. With shots not falling and the Colts getting into foul trouble early, Marcellus was able to capitalize and secure a big win on the road. Now, the Colts look to regroup and finish the season strong, with a home game against Decatur on Thursday night.
2-17 - Comstock 65 - Michigan Lutheran 61
After a slow start against Michigan Lutheran, the Colts found themselves in a tight game, trading buckets and heading into halftime in a tough spot. However, the Colts turned things around in the second quarter, outscoring Michigan Lutheran 28-9. Despite things getting tight in the fourth, the Colts held their ground and managed to close out the game, securing a hard-fought 4-point victory.
2-13 - Comstock 51 - Centreville 43
As the season winds down, it felt like Game 7 of the NBA Finals for the Colts. After falling short earlier in the season, they knew they had a real shot at defeating the undefeated 18-0 Bulldogs. From the very start, the Colts set the tone with tough defense, forcing Centreville to speed up, rush passes, and take uncomfortable shots. By the time the second half rolled around, Comstock had all the momentum—packed stands, a 4-point lead, and plenty of confidence. Kedan Duff led the Colts with 23 points, while Zyrell Yarber added 16. Wyatt Wilkins and DJ Rankins delivered standout defensive performances, and Brayden Huizar controlled the pace of the game. The Colts clinched a huge conference win in this intense matchup!
2-11 - Comstock 61 - Bangor 33
As the Colts look ahead to a big upcoming battle against Centreville, they first had to handle business against Bangor. The Colts wasted no time, forcing turnovers early on and taking control of the game. Zyrell Yarber led the way with 14 points, while Rasheed Patterson had a standout performance at home, recording 11 points and 14 rebounds to help secure the win.
2-10 - Comstock 57 - Bloomingdale 26
After facing the Cardinals on their home court, the Colts were determined to secure a win on their own turf. Right from the start, the Colts had no trouble scoring in the first quarter, playing aggressive defense that led to numerous transition baskets. Zyrell Yarber led the team with a game-high 14 points, while Kedan Duff added 13 points, helping the Colts take control early on.
2-7 - Comstock 49 - Cassopolis 47
In a heated battle, the Colts were locked in defensively throughout the game. Kedan Duff and Brayden Huizar applied constant pressure, making it tough for the opposition. Duff led the Colts with 17 points, while Zyrell Yarber contributed 8 points. Wyatt Wilkins was dominant in the paint, pulling down 13 rebounds to help secure a strong team performance.
2-5 - Comstock 51 - Maple Valley 65
In this non-conference battle, the Colts had a tough time offensively, struggling to make baskets and also having trouble stopping transitions on defense. Despite the challenges, Kedan Duff led the way for the Colts with 20 points, putting in an impressive defensive effort. However, the team fell short on the road, unable to overcome the struggles in both scoring and defense.
2-4 - Comstock 60 - White pigeon 52
The Colts faced some early struggles offensively, hitting only 1/8 in the first half, which set them back. However, they came alive in the third quarter. Zyrell Yarber found his rhythm, draining 3 consecutive three-pointers, and added 2 more later in the quarter. Kedan Duff heated up as well, taking control of the game. He closed out the win by going a perfect 5/5 from the free-throw line, securing the victory for the Colts.
1-30 - Comstock 56 - Bloomingdale 27
The Colts were locked in throughout all four quarters of this intense battle, with the energy of a packed student section and a 7:30 tipoff adding to the excitement. Wyatt Wilkins came out strong, especially on defense, where he was relentless in pressuring the backcourt. Kedan Duff and Brayden Huizar left everything on the court as well. Kedan Duff led the charge for the Colts with 22 points, going 4/5 at the free-throw line.
1-28 - Comstock 71- Lawrence 31
The Colts came out strong, hitting 7 three-pointers before halftime. Isaiah Andrews had a big first quarter with 3 of those threes, while William Smith, Kedan Duff, and Brayden Huizar each added one. After the break, Lawrence had trouble scoring, and Kedan Duff took control, scoring a season-high 34 points to lead the Colts to a dominant victory at Lawrence.
1-27 - Comstock 66 - Marcellus 50
The Colts are having a strong performance, leading 36-8 at halftime. Kedan Duff is leading the charge with 18 points, including going 3/4 from the free-throw line. Zyrell Yarber contributed 14 points, while DJ Rankins and Wyatt Wilkins combined for 16 points in the paint.
1-24 - Comstock 72 - Hartford 39
After a tough loss to Centreville, the Colts bounced back strong against Hartford. Kedan Duff led the way with a game-high 22 points and had an outstanding defensive performance. Brayden Huizar and Rasheed Patterson each contributed 11 points. Wyatt Wilkins and DJ Rankins dominated the rebounds, playing a key role in helping the Colts secure a big win.
1-9 - Comstock 43 - Centreville 65
The Colts had a tough time competing against the top team in the conference. Zyrell Yarber led the team in scoring with 17 points, while Kedan Duff added 9. DJ Rankins chipped in 5 points, 51and Wyatt Wilkins contributed 4. Despite their efforts, the Colts fell short but are looking forward to their upcoming rematch with Centreville.
1-7 - Comstock 65 - Bangor 32
The Colts had a slow start, scoring only 10 points in the first quarter. However, in the second quarter, Zyrell Yarber took control, hitting 5 three-pointers and adding two other baskets. Kedan Duff also contributed, scoring 12 points in the second half to help boost the team's performance.
12-19 - Comstock 47 - Cassopolis 36
The Colts entered the game determined to bounce back after last year's loss to Cassopolis. From the start, their defense and tempo were impressive. Zyrell Yarber led the offense with 18 points, while Kedan Duff contributed 12 points, shooting 6-for-8 from the free throw line.
12-17 - Comstock 54 - White pigeon 36
The Colts got off to a slow start going into the second quarter, holding onto a slim one-point lead after the first. Struggling with rebounds set them back significantly, but their defense stepped up, with a huge contribution from center DJ Rankins . Leading the way for the Colts was Zyrell Yarber, who put up 18 points. Right behind him, Brayden Huizar and Kedan Duff each added 13 points of their own, helping to push the team forward.
12-10 - Comstock 71 - Lawrence 24
Comstock faced off against Lawrence in a game that started off shaky for the Colts. Despite a slow start, they managed to hold a 24-19 lead at halftime, though they were unhappy with their performance. Coming out of the break with a chip on their shoulder, the Colts exploded in the second half, outscoring Lawrence by 42 points. Zyrell Yarber led the charge with 24 points, while Kedan Duff added 15 and Brayden Huizar contributed 14. Wyatt Wilkins and DJ Rankins dominated the paint throughout the game, helping the Colts secure a big win at home.
12-6 - Comstock 59 - Hartford 32
The Colts traveled to Hartford, where they struggled defensively and had difficulty scoring early on. However, after halftime, they gained the lead and put together a strong run. Zyrell Yarber led the team with 19 points, while Kedan Duff and Brayden Huizar each contributed 10 points to help secure the win.
12-2 - Comstock 62 - Allegan 49
Comstock hosted Allegan for their home opener, with Rasheed Patterson leading the team in scoring with 13 points. Kedan Duff and Zyrell Yarber each added 11 points, while Wyatt Wilkins recorded a double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points. Strong defense allowed the Colts to push the pace in the second half, securing a 13-point victory at home.
11-26 - Comstock 40 - Galesburg-Augusta 44
In the first game of the season, Kedan Duff scored 14 points and Zyrell Yarber added 11 points, contributing significantly to the team’s performance. The Colts played strong defense overall, but ultimately fell short by 4 points on the road.
