2-10 - Comstock Bye vs Hackett
Girl's varsity bowling finished up the regular season last night with a bye, the
girls finished with a 5 - 9 record, Sara Preston had high game of 168 and high
series of 281, Lauren Bonds shot a 132 game 228 series.
2-8 - Comstock Bye vs Bronson
Girl's Varsity bowling had a bye last night due to Bronson not having a girls
team, they bowled a exhibition match vs the Bronson JV team, Sara Preston lead
the girls with a 262 series, Lauren Bonds added a 248 series, and Morgan Watson
a 218 series.
2-3 - Comstock 6 - Parchment 24
Girl's varsity bowling in action last night vs Parchment, the girls got off to a
good start winning the first baker game, but in the end lost the match 6 - 24,
Sara Preston shot the high game for the girls of 154, Abby House added a 148 and
Laken Groll a 124.
2-1 - Comstock 2 - Schoolcraft 28
Girls Varsity bowling lost to very good Schoolcraft team last night 2 - 28, the
girls got off to a slow start and never recovered, Abby House led the scoring a
183 game.
1-27 - Comstock 3 - Coloma 27
Girl's varsity bowling was in action last night vs a very good Coloma team, the
girls battled to the end in a 3 - 27 loss, Sara Preston shot a 151, Abby House a
147, Morgan Watson a 138, Laken Groll a 135 and her person best series of 227.
1-25 - Comstock 12 - Kalamazoo Christian 18
Girl's varsity bowling lost a close match vs Kalamazoo Christian last night, the
girls bowled well, splitting both the baker and regular games for a 12 - 18
final, Sara Preston shot her season high and personal best 181 game, Laken Groll
also shot her season high personal best game of 146.
1-20 - Comstock 11 - Galesburg-Augusta 19
Girls varsity bowling lost a very close match to G-A last night 11 to 19, losing the first baker game by 3 pins, then winning the 2nd baker by 4 pins and total by 1. They then lost the first regular game by just 2 pins. Gabriella Langejans shot her personal best game of 161, Lauren Bonds added a nice 153, Laken Groll a 134 and Abby House with a 130 in the effort. Next match is Monday vs Kalamazoo Christian at Pinz, 3:30 start time.
1-18 - Comstock Bye vs Hackett
Girls varsity bowling received a bye vs Hackett, shooting personal best scores
were Leah Petrick, 152 game 279 series, Gabrielle Langejans 140 game 236 series,
Michaela Kessler 111 game 211 series and Kaitlynne Burns 232 series.
1-13 - Comstock Bye vs Bronson
Girls varsity bowing had a bye last night do to Bronson not fielding a team this
season, the girls shot there season high baker game of 156 and baker series of
272 Gabrielle Langejans shot her personal best of 138, Kaitlynne Burns also shot
her personal best of 136, Sara Preston had a nice 156.
1-11 - Comstock 12 - Parchment 18
Girls varsity lost a close last night against Parchment 12 -18 to bring there
season record to 1 - 4, the girls got off to a good start winning the 2nd baker
game with a season high 146, and baker total with a season high 241, the also
one the 2nd regular game with nice 714, Morgan Watson lead the girls with her
personal best 156 game and 269 series, Lauren Bonds shot her season high game of
151 and personal best series of 275, Gabriella Lanjejans shot her season high
game of 115 and Kaitlynne Burns with her season high 107, Abby House also shot a
nice 153 game.
1-6 - Comstock 2 - Schoolcraft 28
Girl's varsity bowling team was in action last night against Schoolcraft, the
girls had a tough night losing 2 to 28, Morgan Watson shot her season
high/personal best series of 230, Laken Groll shot her season high/personal best
game of 137, and Leah Petrick shot her season high game of 131.
12-22 - Comstock 10 - Coloma 20
On Tuesday Dec 22 the girls had a match vs Coloma in Coloma, they lost a very
close match 10 to 20 but bowled great, shooting a 724 game and 1369 series, both
there high for the season. Freshman Abby House lead the way with games of 222
and 181 for a 403 series, both her personal best and 3rd place on the all time
leader board. Sara Preston's 283 series, Laken Groll's 114 game 223 series and
Morgan Watson's 125 game 209 series were all season highs.
12-14 - Comstock 20 - Kalamazoo Christian 10
The girls varsity bowling team was in action last night in a match with
Kalamazoo Christian winning 20 to 10, the girls came out strong winning both
baker games with their season high total of 230. They also won game 1 of the
regular set shooting their season high 595 game, Sara Preston lead the way with
a 157, Abby House added a nice 126, they came up a little short in the 2nd game.
12-9 - Comstock 13 - Galesburg-Augusta 17
The girls varsity bowling team kick of the season last night with an away match
against G-A, the girls came out strong winning both baker games with scores of
108 and 150, the regular games were very close, losing the first game by 24 pins
and the 2nd game by just 10 pins, the match was close all night, but came up a
little short losing 13-17. Sara Preston had the high series with a 278, Freshman
Abby House shot the high game of the night of 150.
