
Comstock Public Schools is thrilled to partner with the Helping Hands Wellness Center (HHWC) to offer FREE healthcare services at Comstock High School. The clinic is located in room 109 at CHS; it will be open on Wednesdays from 9 am to 5 pm. Helping Hands Wellness Center services are FREE for all students, immediate family members, and staff of Comstock Public Schools.
Helping Hands Wellness Center offers:
- Medical Assessments
- Nutritional Coaching
- Emotional Coaching
- Crisis Intervention
- Community Resource Referral
- Urine Testing (UTI, Pregnancy)
- Wound Care
- COVID-19, Flu, RSV Testing
To qualify for FREE services from Helping Hands, you must meet ONE of the following requirements:
- You don’t have health insurance
- You are currently houseless
- You are currently using transitional housing
- You are currently receiving housing or food assistance
- Your family income is below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines
Helping Hands Wellness Center is a community-based healthcare facility that aims to deliver comprehensive care throughout Kalamazoo County. Services for those outside the Comstock High School community are available after school, from 3-5 pm, or at their Rose Street location.
