STEM Academy Places 4th at Science Olympiad

STEM Academy Places 4th at Science OlympiadComstock STEM Academy introduced several competitive academic events during the last school year with the idea that the school would try to actively participate in competitions during this school year. In Comstock STEM Academy's first attempt at the Science Olympiad competition, the school placed 4th overall at a regional event at Western Michigan University.

STEM Olympians participated in 23 events, and earned medals in 9 of those events. Gold medals were earned in the following categories: Air Trajectory; Anatomy & Physiology; Disease Detectives; and "Scrambler." STEM earned 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.

Congratulations to all of the STEM representatives: Shelby Alexander, Tia Geer, Logan Hicks, Justise Johnson, Alex Kish, Lydia Kruis, Samantha Nicholson, Matthew Northrup, Alex Patov, Sylvi Richards, Anna Schreiner, Matt Searles, and Arianna Shannon.
