2-6 - Comstock 22 - Hackett 8

Boys varsity bowling picked up a win last night at home vs Hackett 22-8. The win brings their season record to 9-5. The boys won the 1st baker game 147-127, and lost the 2nd 140-144. The boys went on to take care of business in the regular games, winning both 719-643 and 757-643. Shawn Cosby led the boys with a 174 game, and his personal best 337 series; Matt Searles shot a nice 171 game, and Cole Mollohan added a 155.

2-5 - Comstock 0 - Bronson 30

Boys varsity bowling had their 5th loss of the season Tuesday night at home versus undefeated and conference leading Bronson 0 – 30. The loss put them at 8 – 5 on the season. It was a tough night for the boys, who lost both baker games 106-155 and 130-174, and then lost both regular games 677-923 and 724-919. Matt Searles led the boys with games of 164 & 163; Hunter Deleon shot a 155. 

2-4 - Comstock 29 - Martin 1

Boys' varsity bowling got back on the winning track Monday night with a dominate 29-1 win at home vs Martin. The win improves their season record to 8 – 4. The boys started fast with 2 solid baker wins: 142-110 and 139-90. The team kept it rolling in the regular games winning both 726-519 and 758-549. Cole Mollohan led the boys with a 190 game and 339 series; Michael Khazad was close behind with a 169 game and 310 series; Brandon Schwili added a nice 292 series; and Matt Searles shot a solid 173 game.

2-2 - Comstock  Loss vs Coloma

Boys’ varsity bowling got back on the lanes Saturday at home in a make-up match with Coloma. The boys bowled well, shooting their season high 194 baker game, but came up short against Coloma’s 225. The Colts also lost the 2nd baker game 128-168. Comstock battled in both regular games, but in the end lost both 694-802 and 762-920 for a 2-28 overall loss. The loss puts them at 7-4 on the season. Matt Searles led the boys with a 199 game, 350 series; Hunter DeLeon shot a 168 game, 327 series; and Michael Kzahad added a 168 game, 313 series.

1-17 - Comstock 9 - Constantine 21

Boys varsity bowling lost just their 3rd match of the season Thursday night on the road vs Constantine 9 – 21. The loss puts them at 7 - 3 on the season. The boys lost both baker games 112 – 140 and 135 – 175, and then lost the first regular game 735 – 858. They battled back to win the 2nd regular game 723 – 658. Cole Mollohan led the boys with games of 189 & 176; Matt Searles shot a 157; Hunter DeLeon rolled a 152, and Jeff Koss shot a 151. 

1-7 - Comstock 27 - Hackett 3

Boys varsity bowling started the new year with a convincing 27 - 3 win on the road Monday night against Hackett. The win brings them to 5 - 2 on the season. The boys got off to a fast start, winning both baker games, 172 – 109 and 166 – 134, with a season high baker series of 338. They kept it going in the regular games, winning both with scores of 806 – 686 and 822 – 690; the 822 game and the 1628 are both season high scores. Cole Molohan led the boys with his personal best game of 201 and series of 391; Hunter DeLeon shot his season high game of 184 and series of 349. Also shooting their personal best series were Shawn Cosby with 316 and Michael Khazad with 307.

12-19 - Comstock 29 - Martin 1

Boys varsity bowling will be headed into the Christmas break riding a 3 game win streak! The latest came in the form of a dominating 29 – 1 win on the road against Martin. The win brings them to 4 - 2 on the season. The boys started fast, winning both baker games 146 to 105 and 124 to 119. They kept it rolling by winning both of the regular games, 722 to 429 and 646 to 512. Cole Molohan led all scorers shooting his personal best 326 series with games of 167 & 159; Matt Searles also shot his personal best 299 series with games of 159 & 140; Jeffery Koss added a nice 159 game.


12-17 - Comstock 22 - Kalamazoo Christian 8

Boys varsity bowling made it 2 in a row Monday night at home with a 22 – 8 win over Kalamazoo Christian Schools. The win moves them to 3-2 on the season. The boys got off to a great start by winning both baker games with scores of 168 – 107 and 123 –111. They struggled down the stretch in the first regular game, eventually losing 600 – 621, but they stormed back in the 2nd regular game with a convincing 716 – 551 win. Brandon Schwili led to boys with his season high 151, game 286 series; Hunter DeLeon was close behind with a 285 series, and Michael Khazad added his personal best 178 game.

12-11 - Comstock 19 - Galesburg-Augusta 11

Boys varsity bowling got back on the winning track Tuesday night at home with a 19 – 11 win over Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools. The win brings them to 2-2 on the season. Comstock won the first baker game 125 – 102, and then dropped the 2nd baker in a close one 131-134. The first regular game was close right from the start, and GA won by just 2 pins 654 – 656. The second game was also close, but Comstock pulled away at the end, and got the win, 617 – 528. Cole Mollohan was the Colts' high scorer with a 157 game. Jeffery Koss shot a 147, and Hunter DeLeon added a 132.

12-10 Comstock 0 - Bronson - 30

Boys varsity bowling lost to Bronson Jr./Sr. High School Monday night 0 – 30; the loss brings them to 1-2 on the season. The boys lost the first baker game 128-151; the second baker they shot a season high 189, but fell 5 pins short. They lost the first regular game 598-997, and the second 642-923. Hunter DeLeon had the high scores with a 145 game, 268 series. 12-5 - Comstock 1 - Coloma 29

Boys varsity bowling faced Coloma Wednesday night on the road. It was a tough night for the boys, as they dropped both bakers, 141 – 161 & 117 – 192, and then dropped both regular games 668 – 886 & 736 – 851. The result was a 1 -29 loss, which brings them to 1 & 1 on the season. Hunter Deleon led the boys, shooting his season high 158 game, 311 series; Cole Mollohan shot his personal best 171 game, 299 series; Shawn Cosby added a 159 game. The boys also shot their season high 141 baker game, 258 baker series, and 736 team game. Next match is Monday night on the road in Bronson with a 4:00pm start time.

12-3 - Comstock 27 - Constantine 3

Boys varsity bowing started the season Monday night with a big win against Constantine 27 -3, the boys got off to a fast start, winning both baker games with scores of 137 – 123 and 113 – 66. They continued to bowl well, and eventually won both regular games 704 – 584 and 724 – 602. Jeffery Koss led the boys with games of 168 and 151 for a 319 series. Shawn Cosby had the high game of 175. The boys bowled great as a team, and came away with a great win!
