4-22 - Comstock 0 - Plainwell 8
The High School Tennis Team had an away tennis match against Plainwell last night. Cadence Hofacre lost to a tough opponent 6-0 6-1. Charlotte Benninghoven 6-1 6-0 at #3 singles. Jessica Hummel partnered with Greta Hoopmann lost a tough match at #1 doubles finishing 6-0 6-1. Despite the loss the girls played great, had great sportsmanship, and represented Comstock well both on and off the court.
4-14 - Comstock 0 - Brandywine 8
The High School Tennis Team had our first home tennis match against Brandywine tonight. It was a tough match with Brandywine being our most dominate opponent yet. Cadence Hofacre lost to a tough opponent 6-0 6-0. Evelynn Hulet lost a tough match at #2 singles 6-0 6-0. Charlotte Benninghoven 6-0 6-0 at #3 singles. Jessica Hummel had her debut in doubles, partnered with Greta Hoopmann, losing a tough match at #1 doubles finishing 6-4 6-3. Despite the loss the girls played great, had great sportsmanship, and represented Comstock well both on and off the court.
4-12 - Comstock 0 - Berrien Springs 8
The High School Tennis Team had a match against Berrien Springs last night. It was a close match with Berrien Springs pulling ahead but our Comstock girls have made tremendous progress. Everyone has won a game now in competition and we took 10 games from them in total! Evelynn Hulet lost a tough match at #2 singles 6-0 6-1. Charlotte Benninghoven 6-0 6-1 at #3 singles. Jessica Hummel had another close match at #4 singles finishing 6-4 6-3. Despite having to forfeit half our flights the girls played great, had great sportsmanship, and represented Comstock well both on and off the court.
4-6 - Comstock 0 - Kalamazoo Christian 8
The High School Tennis Team played against Kalamazoo Christian last night in our first dual meet. We knew going into the match K Christian was going to be a tough opponent. Our girls were swept overall but we took 7 games from them! Cadence Hofacre lost a tough match at #1 singles 6-0 6-1. Jessica Hummel had a close game at #4 singles finishing the match 6-4 6-2. Despite having to forfeit half our flights the girls played great, had great sportsmanship, and represented Comstock well both on and off the court.
