Game Information

10-18 - Comstock 14 - Coloma 29

The JV football team put forth a stellar performance Thursday night but fell short 29-14 vs Coloma. Scoring touchdowns in the game were Michael Small and Riley James. Ryan Eames and Daniel Stenger both make great catches from quarterback Cal Ormanovich. The defense held the Comet offense in check for a majority of the game. The Junior Varsity coaching staff would like to thank the players for their hard work and dedication and to always remember everyday is a great day to be a COLT and you will always be a FAMILY!!!!!

10-11 - Comstock 6 - Plainwell 50

The JV football team continued to show improvement last night. Riley James scored for the Colts in the 3rd quarter providing the only score for the Colts last night. The defense played well despite the outcome of the game. The Colt defense was led by Robert Jeffries who had a huge hit against a Plainwell running back. The JV Colts finish the season next week when they travel to Coloma.

9-13 - Comstock 0 - Vicksburg 53

Comstock showed signs of improvement on defense to include some solid containment from our defensive ends and an interception from Cal Ormanovich. Offensively the players put together a couple of first downs and communicated well as we had two players contribute for the first time this week. Our players and parents remain positive which will serve the JV team and the program in its entirety well as we head into Otsego next week.

9-7 - Comstock 12 - Edwardsburg 55

The Offense showed good improvement with Fabian Gonzalez throwing for a 31 yard touchdown pass to James Brown and also ran for a 5 yard touch down. The defense was led by Colton Connor with 5 tackles and Fabian Gonzalez and James brown with 4 each.

8-30 - Comstock 6 - Dowagiac 55

The varsity football team played a tough Dowagiac team Friday night. Kendrick Davis and Dustin bonds hooked up on a 79 yard touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter for the Colts only score. James Brown led the defense with 6 tackles and Fabian Gonzalez pitching in with 5 of his own tackles.

8-23 - Comstock 0 - Three Rivers 51

The team played hard for four quarters, they never once gave up, and the crowd was encouraging and stayed behind our team the whole night. Key contributors on defense were Colton Connor with a team high 7 tackles and a blocked extra point, James brown with six tackles and and a pass deflection, and Derrick Hostetler with six tackles. Key contributors on offense include James brown with 3 catches for 60 yards and Joe Krumske with 24 yards rushing.
