Got a plan?
Welcome to the webpage for the College and Career Academy. On these pages you will find information that will help Comstock students and their parents in their transition from grade to grade, as well as their transition to life after high school. One of the goals of the CCA is to develop an Educational Development Plan (EDP) for all students in our district. An EDP is a flexible document that follows a student's strengths, interests, goals, and course selection throughout their educational career at Comstock Public Schools.
How does the College & Career Academy impact students?
The CCA begins to work with Comstock students as soon as they enter kindergarten. By exposing them to a variety of occupations in a variety of fields, we begin to have conversations about different courses of study, and how it is that the topics they are studying in school can be utilized in a variety of careers. Students in grades 6-12 are introduced to a variety of careers through a program called "Xello." For more information about that program, click here.
