11-19 - Comstock 25 - Vicksburg 33

11-12 - Comstock 22 - Schoolcraft 36

Saturdays game against Schoolcraft ended with a final score of 22 to 36 withe Schoolcraft coming out on top. The Colts started the game a bit shaky and went down by 8 in the first quarter, but were able to get back in it once we began to break their press. We went on a run going into halftime with the score tied. Li'Zariah and Gianna lead the charge with 7 points each. Tazzairia and Megan both contributed 3 points each and Jada dropped in a bucket to help with the offensive push. In the end it came down to second chance points and we simply got out rebounded on the boards.

11-5 - Comstock 26 - Gull Lake 52

Gull Lake's awesome fire power proved to be too much in a hard 56 to 26 loss. Nevaeh scored a season high dropping (4) 3 pointers in an awesome offensive personal effort. Li'Zariah, Gianna and Tazz all contributed 4 points each and Jada dropped in a bucket as well for 2.

11-5 - Comstock 27 - Harper Creek 18


The 7th grade girls played a great game and worked very hard as a team to come away with a 27 to 18 win over Harper Creek. Rebounding and second chance shot opportunities was the key to this victory. Gianna crashed the boards hard and came away with a season high of 13 points for her efforts. Li'Zariah dropped in 8, Nevaeh came away with 4, and Megan contributed 2 points on the offensive side. Kyliegh, Jada and Trista played hard shut 'em down defense while Tazzairia got in a few awesome blocks.

10-29 - Comstock 7 - Portage Central 30


Comstock girls played with lots of heart in a tough 7 to 30 loss against Portage Central.  Gianna Nathaniel had the hot hand with 6 points and Li’Zariah Lewis knocked down the front end of a pair free throws.  Kyla Owens lead the defense in the first quarter before going down with a season ending injury.  Kyleigh Richardson fought hard on the defensive end in an effort to slow down the Portage Central offense along with teammates Megan, Jayda, Trista, and Tazzariah.  The girls fought until the last buzzer sounded, yet in the end were just out numbered!

10-29 - Comstock 22 - Plainwell 39

In our game against Plainwell Gianna Nathaniel lead all scorers with 6 points and Li’Zariah Lewis dropped a layup for 2 points to contribute to the score.  The girls put forth a total team effort in a tough game.  Defensively we just ran out of gas.

10-15 - Comstock 20 - Galesburg-Augusta 12

7th grade girls brought home the victory in their 1st game of the season with a 20-12 win over the Galesburg-Augusta Rams. Kyla Owens lead scoring with 6 points and lots of rebounds. Li'Zariah Lewis and Gianna Nathaniel both put up 4 points each and racked up the steals. Tazzairia Smith, Nevaeh McIntyre, and Megan Kendall all contributed a bucket each. The girls played hard as a team and were beast on the offense and defensive boards. Tazz had a few blocked shots and Nevaeh made some key assist. Defense was a total team effort and it paid off with a win at the final buzzer.
