12-3 - Comstock 34 - Otsego 24

11-19 - Comstock 13 - Marshall 7th 45

Comstock 8th grade girls lost their game against Marshall's black team, 13-45.  The Colts really struggled in this game with fundamentals and decision making.  A few bright spots were the fist points scored in the season by Ella McAllister off Amaya Gonzalez's first ever assist.  While the girls under performed most of the game, hopefully they can learn and continue to improve in the future.

11-12 - Comstock 22 - Lakeview 54

The 8th grade girls played their toughest completion against a Lakeview.  A great team defensive effort led to holding Lakeview's top two scorers to less than 50 combined points (which according to their coach, was the lowest total of the year).  While the Colts were led by improved guard play by Brionna Tiffany and improved post work by Karrissa Gilley, the Colts eventually fell to Lakeview 22-54.

11-5 - Comstock 12 - Portage Central 36

Portage Central proved to be a tough test for the Colts.  Defensive effort by Natalie DeYoung-Foster and Megan James helped the Colts towards a 4th quarter surge.  However, Portage Central proved to be to big and quick and defeated the lady Colts 12-36.

10-29 - Comstock 11 - Marshall 8th 39

The second game for the 8th grade Lady Colts proved to be a difficult test.  With Marshall's red team having a huge height advantage, the Colts fell 39-11.  Reserves such as Sam Nichols and Ella McAllister showed promise and patients while running the offense, which allowed the Colts to possess the ball for a much greater period of time.  This proved to be  a defensive help also, as Marshall scored only 10 points in the second half.

10-22 - Comstock 21 - Harper Creek 33

The Comstock 8th grade girls started the Rising Stars season with a strong effort against Harper Creek.  Macy Cannon lead the Colts with 11 points and great defensive efforts by Maya Deyoung-Foster and Megan James helped to keep the score close at half-time, but rust was evident on the girls first showing, and Harper Creek won 33-21.

10-15 - Comstock 30 - Portage Northern 11

The 8th grade girls Stampede team played one of the best games of the season against a physical Portage North Middle School.  Led by top scorers Karrissa Gilley and Macy Cannon, the Lady Colts were able to take an early lead, with additional scores by Brionna Tiffany, Masyn Scott, Amaya Gonzalez, and Maya DeYoung-Foster to hold the teams lead.  It was an especially good team defensive effort that led to the Lady Colts winning 30-11.

10-8 - Comstock 22 - Schoolcraft 32

Comstock 8th girls played are tough and hard fought game against Schoolcraft.  The game was tied going into the half, but the Colts let the 4th quarter get away.  Maya DeYoung-Foster, Brionna Tiffany, Karrissa Gilley, and Macy Cannon all scored for the Colts, but it was not enough in the end and the Colts lost 22-32.
