Comstock 50 - Cereal City 21
Comstock 22 - Portage Central 40
Comstock 52 - Bellevue 33
Pennfield, Cereal City and Portage Central were all very competitive
quality opponents. Portage Central is the only game I thought we played poorly.
Here's my summary:
Comstock 8th Grade Boys went 2-2 at the Harper Creek tournament, with wins
against Cereal City and Bellevue. Dalton Wilkins and Caleb Howard led the way
offensively. AJ Headspeth was a force on the defensive end.
2-4 - Grass Lake Tournament Champions
Comstock 42 - Michigan Center 14
Comstock 33 - Hanover Horton 22
Comstock 26 - Pinckney 17
It was a complete team effort with contributions from all 12 players.
Gerald Crawford dominated in the post, Kyle Mortimer and Joe Allan controlled
the game with leadership and unselfishness from the guard positions. The bench
provided a huge burst throughout all 3 games.
1-14 - Comstock Tourney
Comstock Loss vs Penn
Comstock Loss vs Penn
The 8th grade team battled back from a large deficit
early in the first game and stayed competitive throughout. Gerald Crawford gave
great minutes down low and dominated offensively at times. Caleb Howard and Evan
Caswell provided energy on the wings.
