10-26 - Comstock 3 - Battle Creek Central 0
Last
night the lady Colts beat the Battle Creek Central Bearcats in 3. Taylor Wells and Madelyn Caswell were
unstoppable on the outside. Miranda Cannon and Morgan Watson kept the right side of the court
alive with their digs and hits – Morgan let nothing hit the floor and Miranda
pounded the ball back at the Bearcats. Ahkyla Blakely came in the second game and immediately contributed
kills.
Well done Lady

10-22 - BCS Red Division Tournament
Over the weekend, Comstock finished
3rd in the Conference. Heading into the conference tournament,
Comstock was tied with Parchment for 2nd. Daisy Ansel
ended the tournament with a total of 62 assists and 16 kills for the
day.
Laken Groll finished with
33 kills for the day. Kierra
Lovelace had an unbelievable defensive day by digging anything that came her
way.
Abby House had her best
day yet with her blocking.

Taylor Wells had an outstanding serving game. In the third game
Taylor served 11 points in a row. Daisy Ansel and Laken Groll connected for an
average of 5 kills per game. Daisy also had her third pancake this season. The
Lady Colts came out fighting and stayed fighting to the very last point. Job
well done girls!
9-28 - Comstock 3 - Bridgman 2
Comstock took Bridgman in five sets in last night's match. Comstock
started off dominating the match by winning the first two sets 25-20, 25-20.
They lost the next two 23-25, 12-25. In the fifth game, Comstock came out on top
with a 15-13 victory. Kierra Lovelace lead the team in digs with 30 digs for the
match. Taylor Wells contributed 8 aces in the match. Abby House had her best
game as a middle hitter.
9-14 - Comstock 0 - Buchanan 3
Comstock's Varsity volleyball team lost a hard fought match to
Buchanan in last night's match up 11-25, 9-25, 8-25. Comstock played the best
defense we have seen all season. Madelyn Caswell lead the team with 14 digs.
Daisy Ansel had 52 set attempts. Ahkyla Blakely and Laken Groll lead the team in
blocks and kills.
9-7 - Comstock 3 - Berrien Springs 0
The
Varsity volleyball team swept Berrien Springs in three games last night in their
first conference match. Laken Groll lead the team in kills while Daisy Ansel
lead the team in assists. Taylor Wells lead the team in service aces and
contributed greatly defensively and offensively. As a team, the Varsity girls
stepped up and fought to keep ahead of Berrien Springs the entire match. The
final scores were 27-25, 25-21, 25-22. Great match lady Colts!!!
