2-20 - Comstock 63 - Dowagiac 39

The varsity girls basketball team had their best game of the year on Thursday night beating Dowagiac 63-39.  Ashley Cross led the Colts with 28 points which included 4 three pointers.  Morgan Baker also chipped in 12.  It was a total team effort as all but 1 of the Colts was involved in the scoring and all of them rebounded well.

2-14 - Allegan

2-11 - Comstock 45 - Berrien Springs 35

The varsity girls basketball team beat Berrien Springs last night 45-35.  Ashley Cross led the Colts with 20 points which included 5 three pointers.  She also recorded 10 rebounds.  Morgan Baker battled a fever throughout the night and played a great game.  Bailey Scohy and Monica Cannon both had some strong play with Bailey making 2 baskets and Monica grabbing some good rebouns.

2-4 - Comstock 51 - South Haven 36

The girls basketball program won at all 3 levels last night for the first time in 5 years.  The varsity team won 51-36 vs South Haven behind 22 points by Ashley Cross.  Morgan Baker chipped in 9 points while Kari Wilson-Abrams and Mistie McMakin each had 7 rebounds. 

2-3 - Comstock 39 - Vicksburg 44

The varsity girls basketball team fell short against Vicksburg last night 44-39.  Ashley Cross led the Colts with 13 points. Mistie McMakin continued her outstanding play and added 10 points.  Kari Wilson-Abrams continues to progress and led the Colts with 10 rebounds.

1-29 - Comstock 43 - Coloma 41

The varsity girls basketball won a close game vs Coloma 43-41.  Ashley Cross led the team with 11 points.  Going into the 4th quarter down 6, the Colts fought back to take a 2 point lead with less than 2 minutes to play behind 2 three pointers by Ashley Cross and 2 more by Ari Stewart. 

1-21 - Comstock 43 - Buchanan 48

The varsity girls basketball team lost a tough game to Buchanan.  Ashley Cross played a great game scoring 20 points on the night while Jordan Baker continued her awesome defensive pressure.

1-17 - Comstock 20 - Plainwell 44

1-13 - Comstock - Dowagiac

1-10 - Comstock - Allegan

The girls basketball team went in at half time tied but could keep up and lost to Allegan.  Katie Leaders led the team with 10 points and 9 rebounds. 

12-28 - Comstock vs Bangor

12-27 - Comstock vs Brandywine

12-19 - Comstock vs Paw Paw

12-17 - Comstock 38 - Three Rivers 60

The varsity girls basketball team lost to Three Rivers 60-38 last night.  After a rough start in the 1st quarter, the girls played out the rest of the game 38-36 and never gave up.  Morgan Baker led the Colts with 14 points and Ashley Cross added 12.  Katie Leaders hit her 1st 3 pointer ever and Monica Cannon play physical defense for us.

12-13 - Comstock 24 - Otsego 45

The girls came out a bit flat but kept things close throughout the evening.  Ari Stewart kept us in the ball game by hitting 3 three pointers and scoring 10 points on the night.  Bailey Scohy came in off the bench giving us some solid minutes of play.

12-10 - Comstock 45 - Edwardsburg 46

The girls lost a heartbreaker at Edwardsburg.  With a 5 point lead and less than 90 seconds to play, Edwardsburg hit 2 3's to win the game.  Ashley Cross led the Colts with 16 points.  Morgan Baker and Katie Leaders each had 10 points and Kari Wilson-Abrams had 9 points and 12 rebounds.

12-6 - Comstock 42 - Vicksburg 39

The Varsity girls team showed some resillience by outlasting Vicksburg in a close batte.  Ashley Cross and Katie Leaders paced the Colts with 13 and 11 points.  Ashley Cross and Kari Wilson-Abrams both pulled down 14 rebounds each.  Ari Stewart hit 2 big 3's in the 4th quarter and when the game was tied with less than a minute to play, Jordan Baker stole the ball and made a lay up to give the Colts the win.
