2-28 - Comstock 34 - Plainwell 54

The JV boys fell to Plainwell last night by the score of 54-34. A lack of energy was a serious problem for the shorthanded Colts. After a back and forth first half the boys buckled down on the defensive end in the second half and outscored Brandywine 21-7 in the fourth quarter. Learning how to finish ball games has been a huge focus for this team, and they responded to the challenge when they needed to most. Ty Robinson had his best game of the year while scoring 12 points and playing strong defense. Jared Plane led with a team high 15 points, while captains Rae Little and Adrian White provided huge offensive lifts in a combined 23 points while also playing outstanding defense on Brandywine's top two scorers. The JV boys took down crosstown Parchment last night by the score of 45-35. Tenacious defense set the tone in the first half as they took a 26-10 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Colts have now moved to 6-1 in the conference heading into the final month of the season.

1-18 - Comstock 40 - Buchanan 38

The JV boys edge out a 40 to 38 win last night down in Buchanan. The Bucks were undefeated on the season, and getting a win on their home floor took a team effort. 1-12 - Comstock 44 - Bridgman 20

The JV boys took care of business on Thursday night against Bridgman earning a 44 to 20 win. The Colts brought the defensive intensity from the opening tip and displayed strong rebounding against a very tall Bridgman team. After a slow start offensively, the Colts began to pull away in the second half behind 12 points from Marcus Cannon and 10 points from Jacob Wells. Bryce Meach's sharp shooting also provided a boost for the team. Adrian White continues to led his team with strong leadership skills from the point guard position. The Colts look to extend this three game winning streak as they shift their gears to a big upcoming week.

1-10 - Comstock 51 - Bronson 24

12-13 - Comstock Loss vs Gull Lake

The Colts struggled Tuesday in route to a 25 point loss at Gull Lake. The young team did not play to their full potential and had trouble taking care of the ball against an active Gull Lake defense. Jacob Wells and Ty Robinson provided a combined 20 points for the Colts offense. The JV boys look to improve on the team pillars of strong help defense, rebounding and limiting turnovers. While disappointed with the performance, the Colts look to get right back to work with a big game against Buchanan on Friday.
