2-10 - Comstock 21 - Hackett 9
Boy's varsity bowling finished up the regular season last night with a win over
Hackett 21 - 9, they finished with a record of 11 - 3, Jacob Wentzloff shot a
206 game 396 series, Mason House a 199 game 379 series, David Bell a 191 game
351 series and Eric Hotchkiss shot his season high game of 233.
2-8 - Comstock 23 - Bronson 7
Boy's Varsity bowling earned another win last night vs Bronson 23 - 7, the match
was close at the start, winning the first baker game by 1 pin, losing the 2nd by
2 pins and total by 1, then they pick up the pace winning the first regular team
game by 79 pins and the 2nd by 133, Mason House shot games of 191 & 216 for
his season high 405 series, Tyler West shot his personal best 314 series and
Eric Hotchkiss shot a 220 in the 2nd game.
2-3 - Comstock 28 - Parchment 2
Boy's varsity bowling got another win last night betting Parchment 28 - 2, the
win brings them to 9 - 3 on the season, the boys got off to slow start in the
bakers but picked it up big time in the regular games, Mason House led the way
with games of 174 & 218 for his season high 392 series, Stephen Courtney
shot a 188, David Bell a 186 and Eric Hotchkiss a 183.
2-1 - Comstock 23 - Schoolcraft 7
Boys Varsity bowling got back on the winning track last night betting
Schoolcraft 23 - 7, baker games of 194 & 161, Jacob Wentzloff 210, David
Bell 192, Mason House 191.
1-27 - Comstock 14 - Coloma 16
Boy's varsity bowling lost a close hard fought battle with Coloma last night 14
- 16, even with the lose they hold on to the top spot in the league, the boys
split the baker games and the regular games, winning the last game by just 3
pins, led by Tyler West, shooting his personal best game of 226, Jacob Wentzloff
shot games of 211 and 204 to tie his season high series, Eric Hotchkiss shot his
season high game of 199 and series of 349, Mason House added a nice 194.
1-22 - Comstock 26 - Kalamazoo Christian 4
Boy's varsity bowling keep it rolling last night and made it 6 straight wins
topping Kalamazoo Christian 26 to 4, the win keeps them in first place, the
entire team bowled well and got off to a great start with 192 baker game, then
by shooting regular games of 844 and 848, Jacob Wentzloff lead the boys with
games of 203 and 195 for a 398 series, Mason House added a 200 game 376 series,
Eric Hotchkiss added a nice 195 and Stephen Courtney shot a 194
1-20 - Comstock 28 - Galesburg-Augusta 2
Boy's varsity bowling made it 5 in a row last night with a 28 to 2 route of G-A. The win keeps them in first place on the season. They all bowled solid as a team and was led by David Bell with games of 200 & 209 for his season high 409 series. Stephen Courtney shot a nice 214 in game 1.
1-18 - Comstock 21 - Hackett 9
Boy's varsity bowling extended there win streak to 4 with a 21 to 9 victory over
Hackett, they got of to a shaky start splitting the baker games, but turned it
up during the regular games winning both and shooting a nice 972 in the 2nd game
to close out the match. David Bell led the way with a 206 game 387 Series, Mason
House added his personal best 226 game and season high 385 series, Jacob
Wentzloff shot his season high game of 224, and Eric Hotchkiss had his season
high 198 game and 345 series.
1-13 - Comstock 23 - Bronson 7
Boy's varsity bowling continued to roll last night beating a good Bronson team
23 to 7, the boys got off to a slow start losing the first baker game then came
back and shot a nice 186 to win the 2nd baker and total, they shot 943 and 796
in the regular games, lead by Mason House with his season high 214 game 377
series, David Bell added a nice 209, Stephen Courtney 197,174 and Jacob
Wentzloff 183,182. The win brings them to 4 -2 on the season and moves them into
first place in the KVA.
1-11 - Comstock 28 - Parchment 2
Boys varsity bowling team beat Parchment 28-2 last night bringing there season
record to 3 - 2, the boys dominated the match from the first frame, shooting
there season high baker series of 366, Jacob Wentzloff lead all scoring with a
205, Mason House added a nice 195 and David Bell a 194.
1-6 - Comstock 24 - Schoolcraft 6
Boy's varsity bowling team was in action last night against Schoolcraft, the
boy's had a nice win and bowled well on a tough condition beating Schoolcraft 24
to 6, Mason House lead the way with games of 172 & 191 for his season high
363 series, Eric Hotchkiss shot his season high game of 188 and series of 333,
Kaleb Preston also shot his season high game of 134.
12-22 - Comstock 11 - Coloma 19
On Tuesday Dec 22 the boys had a match vs Coloma in Coloma, they lost a very
close match 11 to 19 but bowled great, shooting a 991 game and 1882 series, both
there high for the season. David Bell shot 214 game 405 series, Jacob Wentzloff
214 game 398 series, Stephen Courtney 211 game 406 series, Mason House a 205 and
Eric Hotchkiss added a 177 game 327 series , all season highs.
12-14 - Comstock 29 - Kalamazoo Christian 1
The boys varsity bowling team was in action last night in a match against
Kalamazoo Christian, the boys dominated the match winning 29 to 1. The boys
jumped out early winning both baker games by shooting their season high total of
326, then by winning both regular games, Jacob Wentzloff shot his season high
187, Mason House added a pair of 178 for his season high series of 356, Stephen
Courtney add a nice 162, and Tyler West shot his season high of 163.
12-9 - Comstock 10 - Galesburg-Augusta 20
The boys varsity bowling team kick of the season last night with an away match
against G-A, the boys came out strong shooting games of 139 and 175 for the
baker games but lost both, the regular games were very close, losing the first
game and winning the 2nd, losing the match 10 - 20, Mason House shot high series
with a 356, David Bell had high game of 246, and Stephen Courtney added a fine
178 game and 325 series.
