Comstock finished the tournament and their season in the KVA final against 2nd-seed Constantine.  Gabrielle Langejans provided pinpoint passing and clutch serving down the stretch while Daisy Ansel quarterbacked the team with a sense of determined anticipation on defense and aggressive setting.  Emma Otto added consistent passing, serving, and hitting while Aliyah Woodman provided heads-up play, thwarting opponents repeatedly at the net.  Grace Gostlin added her usual athletically scrappy and spirited defensive effort.  Madelyn Caswell was as consistent as she was powerful in her spiking; she also was ahead of the game on defense and serve-receive, intimidating and frustrating opponents all day.  Abby House delivered with a relentless attitude, aggressive defensive play, and consistent attacking at the net.  Kaitlynne Burns provided a most welcome, helpful, and supportive role throughout the day while Vien Hang was there for the team in the championship match.  Add all these ingredients and an unmatched team focus and spirit by the entire group and we end up with the hard earned, very well-deserved title, KVA Champions.

In the end, the Colts had avenged their only regular season KVA loss by sweeping Constantine in two games, 15-14, 15-11 to take the KVA championship.  The Colts did not lose a game the entire day and finished a successful season by winning their last 10 matches (and 22 of 23 games) of the year.  Congratulations on a fantastic effort and job well done this year, Lady Colts; your school, community, and coaches are proud of you and your accomplishments.
