11-7 – Sharp Shooters
Comstock 65 – Mattawan 15
Comstock 53 – Dowagiac 46
The 6th grade boys played Mattawan on November 7th. The boys won 65-15. It was a total team effort with everyone participating. Dj Howard lead the way with 19 points followed by Josh Allen with 18 and Caleb Goslin with 11.  The 6th grade boys also played a tough Dowagiac team on November 7th. They won the game 53-46. It was a fast paced game with Josh Allen scoring 26 points followed by JR Kellum with 14 points.

11-14 – Sharp Shooters

The 6th grade boys went to Dowagiac and played a tough team. The boys won 53-39. They were led by Josh Allen with 28 point, Jr Kellum with 25 points and Stephan Hartsuff and Dj Howard with 2 points each.

11-21 – Sharp Shooters
Comstock 64 – Vicksburg 22
Comstock 44 – Vicksburg 21
In the first game against Vicksburg the boys played a fast paced game winning 64-22. The boys were led by Josh Allen who set the tone offensively. Jr Kellum also played well handing out many assists during the game. Stephan Hartsuff scored 8 points in the win.  In the second game we played Vicksburg using a running clock and 6 minute quarters, the boys won 44-21. Dj Howard played a great game along with Bryce Carter, Gavin Varner and Doug Dodson. The boys played extremely well lead by the defense of Caleb Gostlin and Ethan Jackson. The boys are now 5-0.

12-5 – Sharp Shooters
Comstock 76 – Bronson 32
The 6th grade boys traveled to Bronson Saturday to play.  The boys played well winning 76-32. The boys remain undefeated on the year.  They were led in scoring by Josh Allen with 27 points followed by JR Kellum with 16, Dj Howard with 14,Bryce Carter with 11, Stephan Hartsuff with 4 and Doug Dodson with 2 points each. Rj Baker had a great defensive game leading to multiple breakaways. The boys are 6-0 for the season

The boys played in a new year’s tournament over the holiday break. They played extremely well against good competition. The boys beat Charlotte 25-9 then lost to the host team Pennfield 33-31 in what was a very exciting game. They followed up the last game of the day beating Harper creek blue 25-16. On Sunday the boys played Bellevue winning 38-34 in another thriller moving them on to the semifinals. In that game they played Portage Northern in what turned out to be their last game losing 32-24 to the huskies taking the teams overall record for the tournament to 3-2.

2-6 – Comstock Tournament

The 6th grade boys played in the Comstock tournament placing runner up with a record of 1-2 in 3 games.  In the first game the boys lost to Chelsea 33-27 in a great game. The boys were lead by Jr Kellum with 12 points, Dj Howard with 9 points, and Caleb Gostlin and Josh Allen with 2 points each.  In the second game the boys played the Trojans and brought home the victory winning 25-11. Josh Allen led the scoring with 11 points. The boys played excellent defense holding the Trojans to just 3 points in the first 1/2.  The third game the boys played a tough Edwardsburg team coming up short 48-42. Jr Kellum led the scoring with 19 points. Brayden scored his first 3 pointer against Edwardsburg, Josh Allen had 11 points Bryce Carter had 3 points and Stephan Hartsuff had 1 point in the loss.

The boys traveled to Columbia Central over the weekend. They took it on the chin this weekend going 0-4 for the tournament. The boys are working hard to learn a new offense and showed signs of getting comfortable in the last 2 games.

2-28 – Michigan Center Tournament

The 6th grade boys played 4 games at Michigan center with a record of 1-3 on the day. The boys had chances to win in all of the games but in the end came up a little short.  The  completion was fantastic and the boys played extremely hard learning along the way what it will take to be a top team in the tournaments ahead.

3-5 – Jackson Lumen Christi

The 6th grade boys played at Jackson Lumen Christi going 0-3. The boys played down a couple of boys but that didn't stop them from playing hard. We learned a lot in this tournament most of all how to be good sports when things aren't going your way.
