The girls came out and really struggled making some easy shots and found themselves in a big hole against Olivet.  The rest of the games and especially the last game vs St. Joseph, the girls played great on both ends.  Emily Hainer showed great improvement on the defensive end and also with her aggressiveness.

11-12 - Comstock 29 - Marshall 38

The girls stalled out late in the fourth quarter where they watched their lead evaporate.  Caylin Lopez led the team with 13 points and Daisy Ansel chipped in 8.  Defensively, the girls did a pretty good job helping each other out which was very nice to see.

11-5 - Comstock 31 - Portage Central 8

The 5th grade girls team improved their record to 3-1 with a good game against Portage Central.  The offense really took some shape today with all but one player scoring today and that one play had some near makes.  Daisy Ansel led the scoring with 11 points.  Katie Smith did a great job throughout the game and Katelynne Burns did exceptionally well in the post.

10-29 - Comstock 20 - Gull Lake 25

The girls led for most of the game but tired out down the stretch against a good defensive Gull Lake team.  It was definitely a great game for the girls to learn some things about themselves and what we need to work on in practice.  Daisy Ansel led the Stampede with 14 points.
