2-18 - MHSAA Individual Regionals

The Men's Wrestling Team traveled to Delton on Saturday to compete in individual regionals. Connor Nolan, Casey Nolan and Brandon Bavin each wrestled well and finished their season just short of reaching the individual state tournament. Mubark Hasan finished in second place, qualifying him for the individual state tournament. Congratulations Mubark! Mubark will wrestle March, 2nd-4th at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  

2-11 - MHSAA Individual Districts

The Men's Wrestling Team traveled to Constantine on Saturday for individual districts. Four wrestlers placed in this tournament, qualifying them for individual regionals. Casey Nolan and Brandon Bavin each took 4th place, while Connor Nolan and Mubark Hasan each took 3rd place. Congratulations Men! These wrestlers will compete at Delton this Saturday in the individual regional tournament. 

2-4 - BCS Conference Tourney

The Men's Wrestling Team traveled to Brandywine on Saturday to compete in the BCS Conference Tournament. 5 different Comstock wrestlers placed in the top 4 of the tournament. Rodrigo Juarez and Cameron Gilley each took 3rd place. Mubark Hasan, Dino Sivley, and Brandon Bavin each took 4th place. Great job everyone! On Wednesday, the team will travel to Lakewood to compete in team districts.  

2-1 - Parchment Quad
Comstock 59 - Parchment 24

The Men's Wrestling Team wrestled at Parchment Wednesday night. The Colts defeated Parchment 59-24. Randy Powell debuted for the team, receiving the first win of his wrestling career. Teague Roellchen, Rodrigo Juarez, Connor Nolan, Brandon Bavin, Cameron Gilley and JT Branch each went undefeated on the night. The Wrestling Team will travel to Niles-Brandywine on Saturday to compete in the conference tournament. 

1-27 - Comstock Invitational

The men's wrestling team hosted an individual tournament on Friday night. The Colts did very well, with 5 wrestlers placing in their weight classes. Mubark Hasan, Connor Nolan, and Brandon Bavin each took 3rd place, and Teague Roellchen and Cameron Gilley each finished in 4th place. On Wednesday, the wrestling team travels to Parchment. Wrestling starts at 6 pm.

1-25 - BCS Cassopolis Quad

Comstock 36 - Cassopolis 16
Comstock 42 - Berrien Springs 30

The Men's Wrestling team traveled to Cassoplis Wednesday night, where they wrestled Cassopolis and Berrien Springs. The team defeated Cassopolis 36-16 and Berrien Springs 42-30. Mubark Hasan, Dino Sivley, Alex Hemenwey, and Cameron Gilley each went undefeated on the night. Great Job Colts!

1-21 - Comstock Team Tournament

The men's wrestling team hosted it's annual team tournament over the weekend. Comstock went 2 and 3 on the day defeating Bloomingdale and Napoleon. Brandon Bavin and Connor Nolan each took home gold medals after going undefeated on the day. Mubark Hasan took second place with his 4 and 1 record. Great job Colts!

Comstock Loss vs Bronson

The Mens Wrestling team was in action Wednesday night. The team defeated Benton Harbor 48-12 and later fell to Bronson. Mubark Hasan led the team with two pins on the night. Jesse VanAvery and Zach Perkins also scored pins for the Colts. The Wrestling team travels to Parchment this Saturday for the Parchment team tournament.

12-17 - Gull Lake Invitational

The wrestling team traveled to Gull Lake on Saturday to compete in the Gull Lake Team Tournament. Several wrestlers won matches for Comstock against some pretty stiff competition. Casey Nolan went 5-0 on the day taking home 1st place in his weight class. Brandon Bavin and Mubark Hasan each went 4-1 on the day and took home 2nd place medals. The Colts' next match is this Thursday in White Pigeon. 

12-9 - Olivet Invitational Champions

The Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Olivet Friday for the Olivet Invitational. The Colts wrestled hard all night, taking home 1st place. Nine Comstock wrestlers took home medals for placing in the tournament. Dino Sivley, Brandon Bavin, and Cameron Gilley earned 3rd place medals. Teague Roellchen took home 2nd place. Casey Nolan, Victor Plascencia, Mubark Hasan, Connor Nolan, and Jesse VanAvery each took 1st place. Congratulations on a great night of wrestling. The Wrestling team travels to White Pigeon on Wednesday.
