Comstock 29 – Marshall 39
Comstock 31 – Opponent 32

The 8th grade Colts began their season against two tough schools.  Kierra Garrett started off her season scoring 26 points, but it wasn’t enough as the girls had some difficulties stopping Marshall's fast break and lost a close battle 39-29.  The second game the tired Colts hung in for a very close game against a fundamentally sound Otsego Bulldog team.  Jessica Sivley made an impressive late game steal and Kelci Wilson-Abrams made a clutch free throw in the final minutes.  The Colts just ran out of time and lost 32-31.  Special thanks to Destiny Ormanovich for her positive/never say die attitude.

11-7 – Rising Stars
Comstock 41 – Mattawan 11
Comstock 14 – Harper Creek 54

Game one:
The 8th grade Colts played their best game of the year.  A solid team effort helped the Colts defeat a feisty Mattawan team 41-11.  Amber Payne came of the bench to score 6 points and Angel Currie hit a well set up 3 at the top of the key to highlight a strong Colts showing.

Game two:
The Colts didn't fair so well the second game due to Harper Creeks height and 1-2-2 zone defense.  Kierra Garret led all scores with 9 points and Kelsey Militzer had a gutsy performance where she played all but 2 min of a physical game.
