12-14 - Comstock 26 - St. Monica 39
The 7th Grade B Team finished their season with a hard-fought loss to St.

team in a 31-10 loss, but found themselves only trailing by 3 going into the 4th
quarter this time around. Dakoata Nordman led Comstock with 12 points while
Stephen Hartsuff added 8. The team has a great deal to be proud of this year.
Each player made dramatic improvements throughout the year on their way to a 5-5

The 7th Grade B Team went 1-1 this weekend to take 3rd place in their home
tournament. The Colts began the day with a poor showing in a lopsided loss to
Hopkins, 29-59. The team did not protect the basketball well and were a step
slow on defense, throughout. Dakoata Nordman was one of the lone bright spots in
the contest. He played with awesome effort defensively and was also able to
score 14. The team was better in their second game as they defeated Parchment,
42-36. The Colts dominated the second quarter as they took a 25-8 lead into
halftime, but sloppy play in the second half allowed Parchment to make the game
close. Dakoata Nordman once again led Comstock in scoring with 12, while Stephen
Hartsuff added 10.
12-7 - Comstock 36 - Kalamazoo Christian 49
The 7th Grade B Team lost a hard-fought game to Kalamazoo Christian, 36-49.
The Colts kept the game close throughout the entire game as the teams were tied
31-31 going into the 4th quarter, but K-Christian's tough defense proved to
be too much in the end. Dakoata Nordman showed great heart throughout the entire
game, leading Comstock with 14 points. He has made huge strides this year both
on offense and defense. Doug Dodson also was a standout, scoring 13 points in
the contest. Keep up the hard work, guys!
11-30 - Comstock 49 - Parchment 27
The 7th Grade Boys B Team continued their rapid improvement with a 49-27 win

sputtered early in the 2nd quarter allowing Parchment to even the score to a
13-13 tie. The Colts refocused themselves after a time-out and went on to
outscore their opponents 36-14 the rest of the way. Every player on the team
scored. Gavin Varner, Dakoata Nordman and Doug Dodson paced the scoring with 17,
13 and 12. Jeremy Channells and Ahmir Walker also made their first points of the
year. Awesome job, dudes!

against Delton. The Colts played tough defensively and were much improved in
their transition offense. Stephen Hartsuff was on fire as he led all scorers

of the dribble. Jeremy Channells and Ahmir Walker each logged quality minutes
throughout the night. Nice job, dudes!
11-22 - Comstock 10 - St. Monica 32
The 7th Grade Boys B Team played very poorly in a loss to Saint Monica,
32-10. The Colts really struggled taking care of the basketball and were far
from sharp on defense. Doug Dodson showed great effort and perseverance on
defense. The team will need to be a lot tougher both physically and mentally
going forward. They will look to regroup and bounce back next Monday against
Delton.
11-14 - Comstock 23 - Kalamazoo Christian 31
The 7th Grade B Team lost a close game to Kalamazoo Christian, 31-23. The
team was in foul trouble throughout the game and also struggled taking care of
the basketball on offense. Stephen Hartsuff and Doug Dodson led the Colts in

improved, greatly. The guys also showed a lot of perseverance during key moments
of the game. Good job, Comstock!
