9-19 - Comstock 0 - Vicksburg 2
The freshman girls lost to Vicksburg last night in two games. They put up a hard fight and played a scrappy game. The balls did not hit the floor without a girl diving for it. The girls are improving immensely and are showing school spirit on a daily basis. We play in Coldwater this weekend. Go Colts!
9-17 - Comstock 2 - Bangor 0
25-15, 25-15
The freshmen girls played an outstanding game against Bangor last night. We won the series in 2 games with scores of 25-15 both games. Our skills are improving and it shows in our serves especially, the team had 17 aces. Preshous Echols led the team with 5 aces and shared the kill count with Laken Groll with 4 kills each. We play tomorrow afternoon and hope everyone can come support our girls!
9-5 - Comstock 1 - Dowagiac 2
14-25, 25-15, 11-15
Our girls played an outstanding game against Dowagiac. We came out a little nervous the first game and lost 25-14. The second game was much better and the pregnant jitters disappeared with a 25-15 win. Unfortunately we couldn't keep them in the third game and lost 15-11. Our girls are already showing improvement and are playing as a team. Preshous Echols led the team with 11 awesome serves that included 3 aces. Good job girls!
