2-25 - MHSAA Individual Regionals

The boys varsity bowling team had a good Individual Regional bowling event on Saturday. Each bowler rolled a total of 6 games.  Freshman Landon Hofacre rolled a 652 total with a high game of 132 for 89th place; Nicholas Khazad shot a 947 total achieving his season high game of 221 and putting him in 39th place; Tyler Caswell rolled a 955 total also achieving his season high game of 193 and taking 38th place; Dalton DeLeon shot a total of 976 with a high game of 192 landing him in 31st place; Isaiah Bowling rolled a 982 total with a high game of 197 putting him in 30th place; Jacob Bowling shot a total of 996 with a high score of 216 taking 25th place.

2-24 - MHSAA Team Regionals

The boys varsity bowling team played well on Friday at the Team Bowling Regionals at Jax 60 in Jackson.  They started out with 8 Baker games scoring 157, 119, 203, 155, 141, 165, 143, & 180 giving them a Baker total of 1263 pins. After Bakers, the boys moved to play two regular games. Game one consisted of Tyler Caswell who rolled a 130, Dalton DeLeon with a 136, Isaiah Bowling shot a 169, Nicholas Khazad rolling a 184, and Jacob Bowling shooting a 210 for a game one total of 829. Game two was Tyler Caswell with a 109, Nicholas Khazad rolled a 129, Dalton DeLeon shot a 156, Isaiah Bowling also shot a 156, and Jacob Bowling rolled a 170 for a game two total of 720. The boys finished in 6th place with a total pinfall of 2812.

2-17 - SAC Conference Tournament

Unfortunately, due to inclement weather we were unable to have the conference tournament for the 2022-2023 bowling season. The boys varsity bowling team ended their season in 3rd place with 9 wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie.  Honorable Mention Awards were given to: Isaiah Bowling finishing in 11th place with a 167.24 average, Dalton DeLeon finishing in 12th place with a 165.86 average, Jacob Bowling finishing in 13th place with a 165.78 average, Luke MacLeay finishing in 15th place with a 159.8 average, and Nicholas Khazad finishing in 18th place with a 153.83 average.


2-13 - Comstock 2 - Bronson 28

The boys varsity bowling team lost Monday in Bronson 2 – 28.  The boys lost both Baker games 168 – 173 and 131 – 171.  They also lost both regular games 810 – 890 and 697 – 865.  High scores were held by Dalton DeLeon who shot a 208, Luke MacLeay with a 175 and a 188; hitting his season high series of 363, and Nicholas Khazad who shot a 156.

2-9 - Comstock 14 - Saugatuck 16

The boys varsity bowling unfortunately lost to Saugatuck 16 – 14.  The boys won both Baker games scoring 158 – 141 and 174 – 133.  They couldn’t seem to stay with it and lost both regular games 768 – 869 and 730 – 891.  High scores were held by Luke MacLeay with a 180 and Nicholas Khazad with a 166 and a 161.

2-7 - Comstock 27 - South Haven 3

The boys varsity bowling team had a tremendous night in South Haven Tuesday, winning 27 – 3.  They started out by taking both Baker games 163 – 115 and 163 – 136.  The boys finished it off by winning both regular games 838 – 686 and 911 – 679.  The boys hit their season high game in the second regular game scoring 911.  They also hit their season high regular game series of 1749.  This was largely in part to Jacob Bowling setting two Comstock school records – Individual Game, scoring a whopping 278 and Individual Series, with a score of 531.  Luke MacLeay also hit his season high game shooting a 219.  Great job boys!

2-1 - Comstock 24 - Gobles 6

Varsity boys bowling team won Wednesday evening over Gobles 24 – 6.  They won the first Baker game with a score of 167 – 105 and lost the second Baker 137 – 158.  They were able to quickly get back on track by winning both regular games 894 – 630 and 782 – 616.  High scorers for the evening were Jacob Bowling shooting a 199, Dalton DeLeon shooting a 197, and Isaiah Bowling shooting a 186.

1-30 - Comstock 4 - Allegan 26

Boys varsity bowling unfortunately lost to Allegan Monday evening 4 – 26.  The boys lost both Baker games 115 – 151 and 140 – 180.  They fought hard but ultimately couldn’t bring it back. They lost both regular games 708 – 783 and 745 – 797.  High scores for the evening were held by Luke MacLeay with a 187, Dalton DeLeon with a 175, and Jacob Bowling with a 174.

1-25 - Comstock 26 - Parchment 4

Boys varsity bowling team walked away with the win Wednesday at Parchment with a score of 26 – 4.  The boys won both Baker games with scores of 154 – 93 and 149 – 82. They kept their momentum up by also winning both regular games with scores of 838 – 630 and 687 – 638.  High scores for the night were Dalton DeLeon with a 198, Nicholas Khazad with a 175, and Jacob Bowling with a 168.

1-23 - Comstock 19 - Martin 11

The boys varsity bowling team won against Martin 19 – 11.  They took both baker games 189 – 180 and 189 – 144. The boys won the first regular game 846 -790, but lost the second 779 – 897.  High series for the night were held by Isaiah Bowling with a 348, Dalton DeLeon with a 344, and Luke MacLeay with a 320.

1-18 - Comstock 5 - Coloma 25

Boys varsity lost their 2nd match of the season Wednesday vs Coloma 5 – 25. The boys lost both baker games 125 – 155 and 160 – 170. They also lost both regular games 797 – 802 and 743 – 776. High games for the night were shot by Dalton DeLeon with a 186, Nick Khazad with a 184, and Isaiah Bowling with a 175.

1-16 - Comstock 24 - South Haven 6

Boys varsity bowling picked up a win Monday night at home vs South Haven 24 – 6. The boys lost the first baker game 130 – 131, and won the second 161 – 121. The boys went on to take care of business in the regular games, winning both 669 – 575 and 851 – 673. Luke MacLeay led the team with a 331 series; Isaiah Bowling shot a nice 313 series, and Dalton DeLeon added in a 308 series.

1-12 - Comstock 15 - Coloma 15

Boys Varsity Bowling had their hands full with Coloma Thursday night.  They lost both baker games with scores of 135 – 159 and 154 – 171.  The boys played hard and the match ultimately ended with a tie of 15 – 15.  High scores for the evening were Isaiah Bowling with a 200, Jacob Bowling shot a 183, and Nick Khazad with a 164.


1-11 - Comstock 8 - Saugatuck 22

Boys Varsity Bowling unfortunately lost 8 – 22 against Saugatuck on Wednesday.  They lost the first baker game 135 – 164, but came back to take the second baker scoring 169 – 160.  It was a fight through the regular games with scores of 843 – 871 and 870 – 902.  Dalton DeLeon achieved a season high series with scores of 210 and 204 to give him a 414. Other high scores were Tyler Caswell shooting a 187 and Luke MacLeay with a 183.

12-19 - Comstock 28 - Gobles 2

Boys’ varsity bowling put another win in the books against Gobles last night.  They won both baker games with scores of 203 – 110 and 169 – 108.  They kept their momentum up by taking both regular games with scores of 789 – 608 and 837 – 532. High scorers for the night were Isaiah Bowling with a 402 series, Dalton DeLeon with a 347 series, and Jacob Bowling with a 308 series.

12-14 - Comstock 29 - Parchment 1

Boys’ varsity bowling came home with a win again Wednesday when they played Parchment.  They won their first baker game 164 – 79 and then also took the second baker game with a 143 – 108.  The boys were able to continue their momentum through both regular games finishing with an overall score of 29 – 1.  High scores for the evening were held by Isaiah Bowling with a 284 series, Dalton DeLeon with a 304 series, and Jake Bowling with a 351 series.

12-7 - Comstock 16 - Allegan 14

Boys Varsity Bowling had their hands full with Allegan Wednesday night.  They lost both baker games with scores of 139 – 199 and 166 – 177. The boys played hard and ultimately were able to overtake the tigers 16 – 14.  High scores for the evening were Isaiah Bowling with a 225, Nicholas Khazad with a 203, and Dalton DeLeon with a 201.

12-5 - Comstock 23 - Martin 7

Boys Varsity Bowling took the win over Martin Monday night 23 – 7.  They won both Baker games 203 – 133 and then 167 – 135.  The boys lost the first regular game 683 – 694, but brought it back by winning the second game 891 – 694. Isaiah Bowling led the team with scores of 174 and 182, giving him a 356 series for the night. Other high scores were Dalton DeLeon with a 349 series, and Luke MacLeay with a 334 series.
