I thought a long time about what I should say about my uncle. What do you say about one of your hero’s?  How you were a state champ wrestler. How you seriously told the gazette, and these are your words “the state tourney was very easy.” Huh! Very easy to win a state title in probably the toughest sport...that should tell you just how good an athlete he really was. But I‘d rather just talk about what he meant to me.  When I was in school, every time I was in the gym, I’d see your banner on the wall. I’d always brag how that was my uncle. I’m sure to everyone else it wasn’t a big deal, but it was to me.  I’ve always been proud to call you my uncle. You can always make me laugh and would ruff house with us. You’re a great golf partner, great father, and truly a great friend! Your the kind of guy who is always there for anyone. When I was at my very worst,  you were one of the first at my side. I think about that every day and hope you know how much that meant to me.  Help me in celebrating not only a great athlete, but a great man! You deserve this Uncle Glenn!
