3-8 - MHSAA Semi - Comstock 39 - Schoolcraft 62

For the second round of district play @ Galesburg-Augusta the Colts took on defending state champions Schoolcraft. A few mistakes early resulted in Comstock being down 10-0 to start the game. Comstock wouldn’t go out easy and was down 11 at half. Schoolcraft shot the ball well from 3 to start the second half and Comstock was in a hole they couldn’t climb out of. Schoolcraft defeated Comstock 39-62. Comstock ended the season 13-11 as North Division Champions. Masson Mollohan and Amarion White both had 11 points.

3-6 - MHSAA Quarter - Comstock 69 - Delton-Kellogg 51


The first district game kicked off when the Colts took on Delton Kellogg @ Galesburg-Augusta. Comstock played great defense and shut down Delton Kellogg, stealing the ball 19 times during the contest. The combination of great defense and good shooting Comstock defeated DK 69-51. Amarion White had an amazing game with 32 points and 6 rebounds. Masson Mollohan also had a great game with 20 points and 10 steals.

3-2 - Comstock 35 - Cassopolis 64

After clinching the North Division title, Comstock traveled to Cassopolis with the league championship on the line. Cassopolis came out shooting well and proved to be too much for the colts defeating Comstock 64-35. Masson Mollohan finished the night with 13 points, Amarion White finished with 10 points.

2-28 - Comstock 63 - Decatur 48

For our final home game of the season and senior night at Comstock, the Colts took on the Decatur Raiders for a spot in the conference championship, and the division title. Comstock came to play and defeated the Raiders 63-48. Senior Masson Mollohan led the Colts with an impressive stat line of 17 points, 7 steals, and 5 assist. Senior Amarion White also stepped up with 10 points.

2-24 - Comstock 63 - Mendon 62

For the second and final game time this seasons Comstock took on the Mendon Hornets. In the most thrilling game of the season the colts and hornets were neck and neck all game long leading to not one, not two, but three overtime’s to decide the game. Comstock finished on top 63-62 with the game winning lay-up by Amarion White who finished with a team high 25 Points.

2-21 - Comstock 60 - Maple Valley 53


Tuesday night February 21st, the colts traveled to Maple Valley. Jalen Tyler had his best game of the season scoring a team high 20 points. Amarion white and Masson Mollohan also scored in double digits with 13 & 12 points respectively. Maple Valley had a 4th push to make the game close, but the colts hung on for the 60-53 victory.

2-17 - Comstock 58 - Bangor 46

Friday evening February 17th, the colts traveled to Bangor on their snowcoming. The colts had a great first half leading Bangor 41-22 at the break. Bangor came out strong in the second half, but eventually the colts outlasted them to win 58-46. Amarion white led the colts with 24 points and 5 steals. Jalen Tyler had 14 points and 5 assist.

2-14 - Comstock 66 - Allegan 67

On Valentine’s Day Comstock hosted Allegan. Tough game for Comstock, losing the game by just 1 point. The colts fought hard over 4 quarters, but Allegan ended up with a 67-66 victory. Amarion white led the colts with 20 points, and 5 assist. Masson Mollohan chipped in with 19 points and 8 steals.

2-10 - Comstock 68 - Hartford 43

Friday February 10th, Comstock hosted Hartford. Trying to avenge a loss earlier in the year the colts came out hot taking a commanding 35-19 led at half and never looking back. Comstock got the victory over Hartford 68-43. Masson Mollohan led the colts with 30 points 7 rebounds and 5 steals, Amarion white chipped in with 16 points.

2-7 - Comstock 51 - Centreville 66

Tuesday February 7th, Comstock visited Centreville. For the first half of play the colts kept it close going into the half down 4 points. Centreville pulled away in the second half outscoring Comstock 14-5 in the quarter. The deficit was too much for the colts to overcome, the final score was 51-66. Masson Mollohan led the colts with 32 points 9 rebounds and 6 assist, followed by jasean Tyler with 10 points.

2-2 - Comstock 57 - Lawrence 58

For our first game in February Comstock traveled to Lawrence on the 2nd. 11 days ago the colts beat the Tigers by 18. Coming out hot from three, the Tigers took a 31-19 lead in the second quarter. The colts fought back and went into the half down 35-33. Comstock would stay persistent, but would eventually fall to the Tigers 58-57. Amarion White led the Colts with 22, followed by Masson Mollohan with 14, Jalen Tyler also chipped in with 10 points.

1-31 - Comstock 81 - Bloomingdale 24

Tuesday evening January 31st the colts traveled to Bloomingdale. Looking to bounce back from a big loss to Pennfield the colts got to work early taking a 61-9 half time lead. The colts wouldn’t look back and would finish the game with a 81-24 victory.  Comstock play a team game dishing out 23 assist and stealing the ball 21 times. Four colts scored in double digits; Masson Mollohan with 22, Jalen Tyler with 18, Amarion White with 17, and Jasean Tyler with 10.


1-30 - Comstock 24 - Pennfield 70

Monday January 30th Comstock hosted the Panthers of Pennfield. Pennfield came in with a losing record, but play in a tough conference. Pennfield started out hot with 5 threes in the first quarter. Pennfield wouldn’t lose momentum and would end up winning the game 70-24. Masson Mollohan led the colts with 15 points.

1-27 - Comstock 53 - Decatur 31

Friday January 27th the Colts traveled to the Decatur Raiders on their snowcoming. At the half Comstock led Decatur 23-18. After half Comstock came out with a 20-6 third quarter performance to take their lead to 18 points. The game finished with a score of 53-31 with the defense stepping up in big moments and being consistent all night long. Leading the Colts were Masson Mollohan and Amarion White with 24 and 21 points. 

1-23 - Comstock 61 - Lawrence 43


On January 23rd the Comstock Varsity Boys Basketball team took on the Tigers of Lawrence. The Colts full court press smothered the Tigers all game long leading to 14 forced turn overs. Comstock capitalized on the opportunities off the turn overs and beat the tigers 61-43 at home. Masson Mollohan led the colts with 25 points and 11 rebounds and 6 assist. Amarion White chipped in with 16 points as well.

1-19 - Comstock 66 - Bangor 32


Thursday night January 19th The Colts Boys Varsity Basketball team hosted Bangor. Comstock started a little slow, but a big push in the second quarter led to a 36-19 half time lead over Bangor. A great defensive second half led to the Colts out scoring Bangor 30-13 to bring the final score to 66-32. Amarion White led all scorers with 22 points. Masson Mollohan and Cayden Schultz both added 14 points, with Masson also chipping in for an impressive season high 8 assists.

1-17 - Comstock 53 - Cassopolis 71

Tuesday January 17th Comstock Varsity Boys Basketball took on Cassopolis. Cassopolis finished the half with a 37-26 lead, Comstock battled all the way to the final minutes of the fourth quarter. The Colts ended up falling to Cassopolis 53-71. Amarion White kept us in the game with his season high 27 points. Masson Mollohan added 11 points and 5 rebounds as well as playing a great defensive game adding 5 steals. 

1-16 - Comstock 81 - Bloomingdale 50


Monday night January 16th, the Comstock Varsity Boys Basketball team hosted Bloomingdale. The Colts started out hot ending the first quarter with a 26-11 lead. The second quarter the Colts didn’t let up extending their lead to 29 points at the half. At the end of the game the final score came out to be 81-50 putting up our season high in points scored. Masson Mollohan had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Amarion White led all scorers with 17 points and also added 4 assist. Cayden Schultz had a great night grabbing 8 boards, as well as 4 3’s to end the night with 14 points.

1-13 - Comstock 46 - Hartford 51


Friday night the Comstock Varsity Boys Basketball team visited Hartford. A great defensive first half from both teams led to a 17-16 Comstock led at half. After the break, three late three pointers helped Hartford seal a victory 51-46. Comstock was led by Amarion White who finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Also chipping in was Jasean Tyler with a 10 point 12 rebound double double in his first game of the year.

1-10 - Comstock 47 - Mendon 46

Tuesday Night Jan. 10th, the Comstock Varsity Boys Basketball team hosted Mendon. At the half Comstock led 29-17. Throughout the third and fourth quarters Mendon kept the game close and eventually took the lead with 44 seconds to go 46-45. With 22 seconds on the clock Amarion White made the game winning layup off of an out of bounds play eventually leading to a Comstock victory 47-46. Masson Mollohan ended the night with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Amarion White finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds.

12-20 - Comstock 75 - Marcellus 56

For the last game before our winter break Comstock traveled to Marcellus. Comstock started out hitting their first four 3-Point attempts. Comstock dominated on both ends of the court the entire game picking up their first win of the season 75-56. Masson Mollohan finished with 25 points. Amarion White had a great night chipping in with 15 points and 4 steals. 

12-13 - Comstock 50 - White Pigeon 74

On Tuesday, the Comstock Boys Varsity Basketball took to the hardwood Vs. White Pigeon at home.  White Pigeon had the height advantage with three players in the 6’4” range. Throughout the first half the height differential in the paint made it difficult to get stops on defense. At half, White Pigeon led the Colts 23-43. After some halftime adjustments the colts came out winning the third quarter 18-12, now trailing 41-55 heading into the fourth. Eventually, the halftime lead was too much to overcome for the colts, but during the second half we showed a tremendous amount of improvement and heart.  Masson Mollohan led Comstock with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 assists. Amarion White had 14 points and 5 steals. Cayden Shultz also chipped in 10 points.

12-8 - Comstock 42 - Dowagiac 63

The Comstock Boys Varsity Basketball Team took on Dowagiac Thursday night at home. At the end of the first half Dowagiac led the Colts 23-16. At the start of the Second half the Colts came out ready to play, slowly collapsing the gap. Dowagiac held strong throughout the end of the quarter and finished the quarter extending the halftime lead to 9 points. The colts fought hard, but going into the 4th quarter we were gassed, only having 9 players suiting up. Eventually the Colts fell 63-42. Leading the way was Senior Amarion White with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Sophomore Cayden Shultz chipped in with 10 points and 9 rebounds. 

12-6 - Comstock 25 - Parchment 73

Our young Comstock Varsity basketball team took on the panthers of parchment on Dec. 6.  Three sophomores started for the Colts tonight, as well seniors Amarion White and Cam McKinney.   Amarion led the way for the Colts in scoring with 12 points, followed by sophomore Davon Gordon who chipped in 8.  Comstock fell to an experienced Parchment team 25-73.  The Colts keep their spirits high during the game and showed a lot of determination and grit.
