12-13 - Comstock 50 - White Pigeon 74

On Tuesday, the Comstock Boys Varsity Basketball took to the hardwood Vs. White Pigeon at home.  White Pigeon had the height advantage with three players in the 6’4” range. Throughout the first half the height differential in the paint made it difficult to get stops on defense. At half, White Pigeon led the Colts 23-43. After some halftime adjustments the colts came out winning the third quarter 18-12, now trailing 41-55 heading into the fourth. Eventually, the halftime lead was too much to overcome for the colts, but during the second half we showed a tremendous amount of improvement and heart.  Masson Mollohan led Comstock with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 assists. Amarion White had 14 points and 5 steals. Cayden Shultz also chipped in 10 points.

12-8 - Comstock 42 - Dowagiac 63

The Comstock Boys Varsity Basketball Team took on Dowagiac Thursday night at home. At the end of the first half Dowagiac led the Colts 23-16. At the start of the Second half the Colts came out ready to play, slowly collapsing the gap. Dowagiac held strong throughout the end of the quarter and finished the quarter extending the halftime lead to 9 points. The colts fought hard, but going into the 4th quarter we were gassed, only having 9 players suiting up. Eventually the Colts fell 63-42. Leading the way was Senior Amarion White with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Sophomore Cayden Shultz chipped in with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

12-6 - Comstock 25 - Parchment 73

Our young Comstock Varsity basketball team took on the panthers of parchment on Dec. 6.  Three sophomores started for the Colts tonight, as well seniors Amarion White and Cam McKinney.   Amarion led the way for the Colts in scoring with 12 points, followed by sophomore Davon Gordon who chipped in 8.  Comstock fell to an experienced Parchment team 25-73.  The Colts keep their spirits high during the game and showed a lot of determination and grit.
