3-5 - Comstock Loss to Brandywine
3-4 - Comstock 64 - Mendon 28
Comstock's varsity boys basketball team were on the road taking on Mendon Thursday. The Colts played great defense throughout and shared the ball offensively for a great team win 64-28. Israel Patterson led the team in scoring with 17 points and Dalton Wilkins had 11 points. DJ Howard chipped in 10 points and Masson Mollohan had 9 points.
3-1 - Comstock 71 - Calhoun Christian 19
Comstock varsity boys basketball team defeated Calhoun Christian at home Monday night 71-19. The Colts played great all four quarters with everyone on the team contributing. Israel Patterson led the team in scoring with 17 points, JR Kellum had 14 points and Masson Mollohan added 11 points.
2-25 - Comstock 49 - Allegan 41
Comstock varsity boys basketball team hit the road to take on Allegan Thursday night. The Colts came out strong in the first quarter leading 19-5. Allegan hung around but Comstock was solid down the stretch and came out on top 49-41. Kyle Mortimer led the way in scoring with 18 points and Israel Patterson had 12 points.
2-19 - Comstock 56 - South Haven 32
Comstock boys varsity basketball team traveled to South Haven Friday to face the Rams after defeating them on Tuesday by two in overtime. The second time around the Colts came out and took it to South Haven pulling away and winning 56-32. Comstock had four players score in double digits led by Kyle Mortimer with 14 points, Dalton Wilkins had 13 points, Israel Patterson had 11 points and JR Kellum added 10 points.
2-18 - Comstock 59 - Battle Creek Academy 38
The boys varsity basketball team took on Battle Creek Academy Thursday night for a non conference game. Comstock took a three point lead into halftime but came out strong in the second half to open the game up and cruise to a 59-38 victory. Israel Patterson led the Colts with 21 points, Dalton Wilkins added 16 points and Kyle Mortimer had 12 points.
2-16 - Comstock 40 - South Haven 38 OT
Comstock varsity boys basketball team improved to 3-1 on the season beating South Haven last night 40-38 in overtime. The game was close from start to finish but the Colts ended up with the victory after coming up with big defensive stops on South Haven who had a few chances to win the game in regulation as well as tie it at the end of overtime. Israel Patterson led Comstock in scoring with 17 points and Carter Wintz added 8 points.
2-12 - Comstock 32 - Buchanan 64
The boys varsity basketball team traveled to Buchanan Friday night for the first conference game of the year. Buchanan started hot going up 13-0, but the Colts closed the gap and were down 24-16 at half. Buchanan took advantage of second chance opportunities and turned over Comstock with there full court pressure to knock off the Colts 64-32. Dalton Wilkins led Comstock in scoring with 8 points and DJ Howard had 6 points.
2-11 - Comstock 37 - Hartford 57
Comstock boys varsity basketball team defeated Hartford Thursday night 57-37. The Colts held a comfortable lead throughout the game with great defense and unselfish offensive play. Kyle Mortimer led the team in scoring with 19 points. Israel Patterson recorded another double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
2-9 - Comstock 59 - Marcellus 57
The Comstock boys varsity basketball team finally tipped off there season against Marcellus last night at home. Marcellus kept the game close throughout but the Colts held strong and answered every run the Wildcats had. With only a few seconds left Marcellus missed a half court shot giving Comstock the 59-57 victory. Israel Patterson kicked off the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Mortimer added 10 points and 4 assists.
