Record - 9-8-3

10-13 - Comstock 0 - Delton-Kellogg 3

The Colts just couldn't get enough going offensively and fell in the MHSAA District Quarter to DK.  I'm very proud of all the boys and the effort they gave me all season long.

10-11 - Comstock 3 - Buchanan 0

Comstock played a bit flat tonight but did just enough before the bad weather dropped in on us.  Haydn Haskins had 2 more goals for the Colts and Trey Kohler got his 3rd goal of the season.  Jonathan Torres, Fernando Torres and Tyler Caswell had 1 assist each.  Congratulations to Mitchell Cannon on his 5th shutout of the season.

10-7 - Comstock 3 - Coloma 1

The Colts found themselves down 1-0 and again battled back to win the game.  It was a great night of being aggressive and winning 50/50 balls.  Haydn Haskins came through for the Colts scoring 2 goals and Alex Patov had the other goal.  Fernando Torres, Fidel Ramos and Tyler Caswell each had an assist.

10-6 - Comstock 7 - Quincy 0

The Colts controlled the entire evening and came out victorious.  Geovanni had a huge game on the offensive end scoring 4 goals for the Colts and he also had 2 assists.  Jonathan Torres had 2 goals and 1 assist and 1 of the goals was a 35 yard chip right over the keeper.  Tyler Caswell also scored his 1st varsity goal and Fernando Torres and Alex Patov each had an assist.  Mitchell Cannon logged his 4th shutout of the season.

10-4 - Comstock 2 - Olivet 2

This was a huge game for the Colts as it marked the 1st time all season that we fought back.  The Colts were down 2-0 in the 1st 15 min. of the game and battled the rest of the night to finish in a 2-2 tie.  Geovanni Carrillo-Torres and Fernando Torres each had goals for the Colts and Jonathan Torres had an assist.

9-30 - Comstock 2 - Berrien Springs 1

The Colts earned a much needed win.  The defense did a great job throughout the night and the Berrien Springs only goal came in the last 10 min. of the game.  Jonathan Torres and Fernando Torres each had a goal and an assist in the game and both did a great job controlling the ball.  Tyler Caswell is also starting to come out of his shell and is doing a great job getting more involved in play.

9-29 - Comstock 0 - Hartford 5

We battled well in this game until we got behind and then we became a bit flat and frustrated.  Hartford did a great job of controlling the tempo and making runs on us.

9-27 - Comstock 1 - Bangor 3

The Colts again controlled most of the game vs Bangor but still came out on the losing end.  We still are struggling to maintain a good defensive advantage against really good players.  Haydn Haskins had the loan goal for the Colts and Alex Patov had an assist.

9-23 - Comstock 5 - Parchment 1

The Colts controlled 80% of the game but still struggled a bit getting good shots on goal but still came out victorious.  Geovanni Carrillo-Torres and Alex Patov led the Colts with 2 goals each while Trey Kohler got his 2nd goal of the season.  Alex Patov and Tyler Caswell had an assist each.

9-22 - Comstock 0 - Bloomindale 0

The Colts traveled to Bloomingdale and had their best game in a while.  Matt Searles and Tyler Caswell had a superb game on defense and Mitchell Cannon did a great job saving a couple 1v1 opportunities for Bloomingdale.

9-16 - Comstock 2 - Schoolcraft 3

The frustration continues as we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with a few mistakes here and there that cost us goals.  Haydn Haskins and Alex Patov scored unassisted goals for the Colts.

9-15 - Comstock 1 - Cassopolis 2

The Colts have fallen into a funk losing to Cassopolis.  Again, the Colts possessed the ball more than Cassopolis but came out on the losing end.  Jonathan Torres scored the loan goal and Fernando Torres had the assist.

9-13 - Comstock 0 - Hartford 6

The Colts hosted Hartford for the Varsity match and did a really good job but a few small mistakes cost us and then we lost our aggressiveness.  The final
doesn't reflect the balance of the game.

9-10 - Comstock 0 - Bangor 3

The Colts controlled 75% of the game but came out on the losing end of things.  We just couldn't quite control a couple of their players and they burned us.  Overall, it was great to see the Colts possessing the ball as much as we did but we have to get better at attacking.

9-9 JV Scrimmage - Comstock 1 - Hartford 5

The Colts traveled to Hartford to scrimmage their JV team and did a good job in the 1st half but then fell apart a bit in the 2nd half.  Jacob Ramirez scored the lone goal for the Colts.  It was great to see all the younger boys getting some good playing time.

9-8 - Comstock 2 - Bloomingdale 2

The Colts again jumped out to a 2-0 lead at half time but couldn't hang on for the win allowing 2 goals in the 2nd half.  Jonathan Torres had a goal and an assist.  Alex Patov had the other goal and Geovanni Carrilllo-Torres added an assist.  The Torres brother did a great job in the 1st half controlling the ball but the tables turned in the 2nd half as Bloomingdale was more physical and won more 50/50 balls.

8-31 JV Scrimmage - Comstock 2 - Dowagiac 2

The Colts jumped out to a 2-0 lead by half time from goals by Tyler Caswell and Matt Searles.  Harmanjit Singh had an assist on 1 of the goals.  The Younger Colts played throughout and did a very good job.  Trey Kohler, Fidel Ramos and Caydn Schultz did a great job controlling the middle.

8-30 - Comstock 5 - Cassopolis 2

The Colts were dominant tonight vs Cassopolis.  Fidel Ramos had 2 goals tonight along with Fernando Torres, Trey Kohler (1st Varsity Goal) and Alex Patov each getting a goal as well.  Fernando Torres also had 2 assists and Jonathan Torres and Haydn Haskins each had 1 assist.  Again, the Colts did a great job of possessing the ball throughout the game.

8-26 - Comstock 3 - Kalamazoo Christian 2

The Colts beat Kalamazoo Christian for the first time in a while.  It was an exciting game throughout.  Fernando Torres had 2 goals and Jonathan Torres scored the other with Alex Patov earning an assist.  The Colts controlled most of the game and the Torres brothers did a great job making the Comets miss to create open shots.

8-23 - Comstock 7 - Lawton 0

The Colts took a bit of time to get going but once they did, they couldn't be stopped.  The boys finished the first half at 3-0 and quickly got on the board in the 2nd and then pushed it to 7-0.  Tyler Caswell and Matt Searles anchored the defense and Mitchell Cannon earned his 2nd shutout.  Geo Carrillo-Torres had his 1st hat trick of his career.  Also scoring goals for the Colts were Alex Patov, Fernando Torres, Haydn Haskins and Jonathan Torres.  Fernando Torres also had 2 assists and Alex Patov had 1.

8-20 - Comstock 0 - Vicksburg 7

The Colts had a tough go during the 2nd game of a mini tourney.  Vicksburg did a great job passing the ball around and the Colts couldn't keep up.  It was a great learning experience of what we have to do better.

8-20 - Comstock 1 - Pennfield 0
The Comstock Colts started their season off with a tough fought win over Pennfield.  The defensive line held really well and Mitchell Cannon earned his first shutout in goal as a freshman.  Geo Carrillo-Torres scored the loan goal on a nice pass from Fernando Torres.
