6-3 - MSHAA State Final - 14th Place
Five fearless young ladies took on state and represented Colt Nation well. Ereni Polhamus started off the day where she once again tied the school record of 5’2” in the high jump, and finished 5 th place overall making her way to the
podium as a freshman. Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan took to the track in the 100m and 200m prelims and advanced to the finals in both. She blazed the track taking 2 nd place overall in the 100m and 8 th place overall in the 200m. The girls
4x100 relay team of Alaynna Richardson, Zamaiyah Williams, Aniijyah Williams, and Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan finished in 12th overall out of 24. Great day for the Colts!
5-24 - Kalamazoo County All-Star Meet
3 Lady Colts were invited to the All-Star meet. Zamaiyah Williams took 3 rd place overall in the long jump with a 14-01.75 jump. Ereni Polhamus finished the meet with a 1 st place finish in high jump, and Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan
finished 1 st in the 100m & 200m. Ti’anna shot out of the blocks in the 100m, breaking her own PR and school record with a 12.30 finish.
5-23 - SW10 Conference Meet at Mendon - 5th Place
The Colts ladies finished 5 th place overall at the conference meet held at Mendon High School. Our field event girls held their own with Ereni Polhamus finishing 2 nd in high jump, Zamaiyah Williams jumping a PR in long jump
finishing 3 rd with a 14-05.75, and Autumn Hummel jumped her way into 9 th place. Mackenzie Bowers threw an 82-04 in discus for an 8 th place finish. On the track Ti’anna Murphy- Ryan dominated the sprints taking 1st place in
both the 100m & 200m. The 4x100 relay team of Alaynna Richardson, Zamaiyah Williams, Aniijyah Williams, and Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan took 1 st place overall.
5-18 - MHSAA Regional at Bangor - 8th Place
On a quest to qualify for the state finals the ladies showed up at Bangor ready for action. Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan earned her 3 rd straight trip to the state finals qualifying in both the 100m & 200m individually. She also qualified
along with her 4x100 relay team of Alaynna Richardson, Zamaiyah Williams, and Aniijyah Williams. Ereni Polhamus also secured her trip to the state finals with a qualifying jump of 4’11”. Congratulations ladies!
5-15 - Comstock Invitational - 5th Place
Mackenzie Bowers took 4 th in the discus. Ereni Polhamus finished in the #1 spot in high jump and tied the school record with a 5’2” jump. Our long jumpers finished 7 th , 14 th , and 15 th (Zamaiyah, Aniijyah, & Autumn). On the track Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan and Alaynna Richardson scored for the Colts finishing 1 st & 7 th in the 100m. Ti’anna also took 1 st in the 200m followed by teammates Zamaiyah Williams (5 th ) & Alaynna Richardson (7 th ). Autumn Hummel alsoadded points to the board with a 6 th place finish in the 800m.

In sprints the Colts took on the 100m dash and claimed 1 st -Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan, 4 th - Alaynna Richardson, 6 th - Aniijyah Williams, 9 th - Aniyah Robinson, and 10 th D’nasia Hemphill. In the 200m we took 1 st , 3 rd , & 4 th (Ti’anna, Zamaiyah & Alaynna). Krisha Patel took 5 th in the 800m. Ereni Polhamus took 1 st in the high jump.
5-5 - Quincy Invitational - 6th Place
Our girls got off to a great start with Ereni Polhamus taking 1 st in the high jump. Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan continued her dominance in the 100m & 200m finishing 1 st in both. The girls 4x100 relay (Alaynna Richardson, Zamaiyah Williams, Aniijyah Williams, and Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan) dominated the field getting the stick around to finish in 1 st .

Ereni Polhamus took advantage of the home field advantage and took home 1 st place in the high jump. Zamaiyah Williams finished in 4 th place in the long jump, and Mackenzie Bowers threw her way into 4 th place in discus. On
the track the lady colts dominated the sprints with Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan taking 1 st in both the 100m & 200m. Zamaiyah Williams flew around the curve in the 200m taking 2 nd place & Alaynna Richardson snatched up the 5 th place spot.

As the season progresses the ladies continue to show their competitive spirit and CC pride. Jumping 4’10” Ereni Polhamus took 1 st place in the high jump. Our long jumpers Aniijyah Williams and Autumn Hummel took 3 rd & 5 th in long jump. Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan, Alaynna Richardson, Aniijyah Williams and Aniyah Robinson blazed the 100m finishing 1 st ,4 th , 5 th & 9 th . Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan and Zamaiyah Williams also took 1 st & 2 nd in the 200m.
4-21 - Comstock Invitational - 6th Place
High jumper Ereni Polhamus finished 3 rd , and Zamaiyah Williams took 8 th in the long jump. Our 4x100 relay snagged the #1 spot, while Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan took 1 st place in both the 100m & 200m. Ladies were able to finish 6 th place overall.

Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan 1 st in the 100m & 200m, D’nasia Hemphill 5 th place in the 200m. Ereni Polhamus was 1 st in the high jump. Zamaiyah Williams and Aniijyah Williams finished 3 rd & 6 th in the long jump.
4-15 - Hartford JV Meet
Ereni Polhamus jumped to new heights in this meet and tied the current school record with a high jump of 5’02”. Our runners made a great effort, however, didn’t advance to the finals.
4-14 - Gull Lake Invitational
Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan finished in 4 th place in the 100m and 2 nd in the 200m. Ereni Polhamus finished high jump in the #1 spot jumping 5’01”.
4-12 - Marcellus Co-Ed Relays
The co-ed relays were a fun way to get into the 2023 track season. Everyone showed up with their competitive spirit and we put in some good work on the track and in field events.
4-7 - Lakeview Invitational
To start off the 2023 track season the ladies headed to Battle Creek for the Lakeview Invitational. Ti’anna Murphy-Ryan finished 2 nd in the 100m & 1 st in the 200m. Ereni Polhamus took 2 nd overall in the high jump. All the ladies
were able to get out of the gate and set their starting line for this upcoming season. Good start for the season.
