2-17 - KVA Tournament

Girls Varsity bowling wrapped up the regular season Friday at the KVA tournament, the girls struggled on the day and finished 5th, Abby House led the girls with a 162,126 games, Morgan Watson shot a 122, Kelsee Wigler added a 121. Next up is regionals, team event is Friday the 24th at Eastland, 1:00pm start time, singles is Saturday the 25th at Eastland, 8:00am start time.

2-8 - Comstock BYE

Girls varsity bowling had a bye Wednesday night due to Hackett not having a girls team, the girls scrimmaged our JV team, Taylor Wells shot her personal best 138 game and 230 series. On the JV side they shot there season high team game of 640 and series of 1077, Carter Wingler shot his personal best game of 116 and series of 220, Vincent Nguyen shot his personal series of 231. Next event for the varsity girls will be the conference tournament on the 17
th at PINZ with an 11:00 start time.

2-6 - Comstock BYE

Girls varsity bowling had a bye Monday night with Bronson not having a girls team, the win puts them at 8 – 5 on the season. The girls will also have a bye on Wednesday vs Hackett, they will finish the regular season at 9 – 5.

2-1 - Comstock 18 - Parchment 12

Girls varsity bowling was in action Wednesday against Parchment, the girls got off to a slow start losing both baker games and going down 0 – 10 to start the match. The girls pulled it together and bowled great in the regular games shooting the 2nd best all-time team series of 1424 and winning 18 of the 20 points and winning the match 18 – 12, the win puts them at 7 – 5 on the season good for 3rd place in conference. Morgan Watson led the way shooting her personal best game of 205 and series of 353, also shooting their personal best games were Kaitlynne Burns with a 149 and Taylor Wells with a 129, Laken Groll added a nice 176 and Abby House with a 169. Next match is Monday at Home VS Bronson, 4:00pm start time at Eastland

1-30 - Comstock 6 - Schoolcraft 24

Girls varsity bowling was in action Monday night vs Schoolcraft, the girls bowled well but in the end lost 6 – 24, Kalsee Wingler led the girls shooting her personal best 163 game and 293 series, Laken Groll shot a nice 159 game. The girls also had a very good 158 baker game, the lost puts them at 6 – 5 on the season. Next match is Wednesday vs Parchment with a 4:00pm start time at Eastland Bowl.

1-25 - Comstock 7 - Coloma 23

Girls varsity bowling was on the road Wednesday vs conference leading and undefeated Coloma, the girls bowl well and keep the match close, but in the end lost 7 – 23 and putting them 6 – 4 on the season. They lost the 2nd baker game by just 3 pins, lost the first regular game, and then in the second baker game they put it together and shot a 777 (3rd high on the all-time leader board), Lauren Bonds lead the way shooting her personal best game of 201, Morgan Watson also shot her personal best game of 184 for a 313 series, Taylor Wells also shot her personal best game of 113 and series of 222, Abby House added a nice 160 game 312 series. 

1-24 - Comstock 26 - Kalamazoo Christian 4

Girls varsity bowing got a good win Tuesday vs K-Christian winning 26 – 4, the girls got off to a great start winning both baker games and in the process shooting a 160 for the 3rd high score on the all-time leader board, they dominated the regular games as well. Lauren Bonds shot her personal best game of 170 and series of 290, Laken Groll added a nice 156. The win brings them to 6 – 3 on the season.

1-18 - Comstock 15.5 - Galesburg-Augusta 14.5

Girls varsity bowling was back in action Wednesday night vs Galesburg Augusta, the match was close from wire to wire, the girls lost the first baker game by 1 pin, then came back and won the 2
nd baker by 6 pins and total by 5. The match stayed close in the 1st regular game losing by just 35 pins, then the girls turned it on in the 2nd regular game shooting a season high 740 and winning the match 15.5 to 14.5. Laken Groll led all scores by shooting her personal best game of 201 and series of 358, Lauren Bonds tied her season best series of 246, Abby House added a nice 168 game. The win brings the girls to 5 – 3 on the season.



1-16 - Comstock BYE vs Hackett

Girls varsity bowling had a bye Monday vs Hackett (Hackett does not have a girls team) the win brings them to 3 – 3 on the season. The girls scrimmaged our JV team, Laken Groll shot her personal best 181 game 319 series, Kelsee Wingler shot her personal best game of 139 and Michaela Kessler also shot her personal best game of 126. On the JV side Paula Mikat shot her personal best game of 142 and series of 223, Claire Mcfarlen shot a 109 and Alexus Hofacre added a 101.

1-9 - Comstock 20 - Parchment 10

Girls varsity bowling was back in action last night vs Parchment, the girls got off to a fast start winning both baker games and baker total, they keep it rolling into the regular games winning the first regular game and locking up the match, they dropped the 2nd regular but won the match 20-10, the win brings them to 2 – 3 on the season. Laken Groll led the girls with her season high 143 game and personal best series of 285, Abby House added a fine 142 game and Lauren Bonds with a 132. Next Match is Monday vs Hackett at PINZ with a 3:30pm start time.

12-21 - Comstock 2 - Coloma 28

Girls’ varsity bowling was in action last night at home against Coloma, the girls game out strong shooting their season high baker game of 162 and 265 series but still came up short losing both games, they continued bowl well in the regular games shooting their season high series of 1301, but in the end lost 2 – 28, Abby House led the colts shooting her personal best game of 244 and season high series of 380, Morgan Watson shot her season high game of 160 and personal best series of 314, Michaela Kessler shot her personal best game of 115, and lauren Bonds had her season high series of 245, the loss brings them to 1 – 3 on the season. 

12-19 - Comstock 7.5 - Schoolcraft 22.5

Girls’ varsity bowling was in action last night against Schoolcraft, the girls battled all night but ended up losing to very good Schoolcraft team. Morgan Watson shot her season high game of 139 and series of 254, Laken Groll shot her season high game of 132, Gabrielle Langejans shot her season high game of 119 and series 224, and Kaitlynne Burns shot her personal best 138 games, the loss brings them to 1 – 2 on the season.

12-12 - Comstock 27 - Kalamazoo Christian 3

Girl’s varsity bowling had their 2nd match of the season against K-Christian Monday night. The girls came out strong in the baker games shooting their season high game of 119, series 229 to win both, they continued to bowl well winning both regular games with a season high 699 game and a 1209 series and winning the match 27 - 3. Abby House shot her high game of the year of 183 to lead all, Kaitlynne Burns shot her person best game of 137 and series of 272, Laken Groll added a 130 and Morgan Watson a 129, their season highs. The win brings them to 1 – 1 on the season. 

12-7 - Comstock 8 - Galesburg-Augusta 22

The girls came out of gate slow, coming up short on both baker games, they battled back winning the 1st regular game by just 14 pins, but in the end lost a close one 8 to 22. The scoring was lead by Lauren Bonds with a 142, Abby House with a 131, and Morgan Watson with a 122.
